Clinique clarifying lotion helps with milia

Advantages: Clears up my cheek milia, exfoliates really well, diminishes wrinkles
Disadvantages: Stings a bit when applied, fairly expensive for most

...For years I've had milia on my cheeks, but I didn't know what they were. Since I read that milia only appears around the eye area, I always presumed that I'm just prone to whiteheads. Although they're not really whiteheads since they look like bumps under the skin. They are trapped skin cells. If I tried to squeeze them, I'd make an absolute mess of my skin and they'd then turn into inflamed spots that can be popped. Johnsons Adult Lotion

Advantages: Smells nice, leaves skin lovely and soft, extremely versatile

Baby lotion for bed time

...and rubbed it into her skin all over, even on the face but of course was very careful around her eyes. The lotion was very smooth and not at all oily. It gave enough moisture to be able to massge her gently without being too hard on her skin. It rubbed it well and left her skin nice and soft. I don't know if it was the lotion or just the motion of my hands massaging her but my baby was very content and relaxed afterwards. I put her to bed and she slept very well and only woke once in the night for a feed! Since then I have used this regularly. It's become part of our bath time routine and I really love it. I love having that bit of time to dedicate to my daughter where it is just the two of us and we're not rushing around the shops or trying to cook tea but we're relaxing and bonding together. Burt's Bees Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion

Advantages: made from recyled material, not tested on animals, smell is quite nice

...Recently I was given a Burt's Bees gift bag with lots of Burt's Bees miniatures in it. One of these was the 'Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion'. The bottle I got was a 29.5ml size, but it is also available to buy in a full sized bottle which holds 236ml and costs around £13. Burt's Bees products are quite easy to get a hold of, with a lot of shops selling them. They are also widely available online. The miniature bottle looks exactly the same as the full sized bottle, just a lot smaller! The bottle is made of yellow plastic and has a white plastic screw top lid. It has pictures of carrots on the label along with the name of the product in nice, clear, red font. ...Before having Baby B I had no idea about what skincare products babies need and we hadn't bought anything in prior to her birth but then once she arrived we soon realised that we couldn't just use the bath bubbles we had but needed something more for her skin.
