Trees Lounge
Advantages: Great acting
Disadvantages: Abit depressing but with lighter parts
...This Steve Buschemi's debut as writer and director. Made in 1996 it is a relatively unknown film but was a critcal if not commercial succes for Buschemi
The film is about an alcoholic named Tommy (Steve Bushemi), the film starts and he is trying to wangle one more drink out of the barmaid 15 minutes after 'time'. The barmaid Connie(played by Carol Kane - Hester Street, Taxi) is obviously familiar and serves him with Tommy, which is an interesting tenet to the film as everyone knows everyone in this small suburb and everyone knows Tommy and he seems to recoil from it in shame. The bar 'Trees Lounge' is always populated by Tommy, an elderly alcoholic Bobby and another successful alcoholic Mike (Mark Boone Junior - Batman Begins, Lonesome Jim) Tommy starts to form a friendship with Mike thinks he is a looser. Mike is a strange character...

The Departure Lounge Cafe
Advantages: Lovely rural location, easy to get to, great food and pleasant staff.
Disadvantages: Does not take credit or debit cards and no Stella!
..., inside the departure lounge itself. I prefer the seating near to the nursery and water feature as they have a children?s slide and roundabout here. Perfect for my 4 year old but not suitable for the older ones. It is quite safe as there is a padded floor covered with bark and wood chips. There is huge umbrella type canopy covering most of the seats in this area, giving you ample shade whilst still enjoying the summer sun if it ever arrives.
The tables and chairs are chrome and are quite comfortable. Each table has a cutlery holder with a selection of sauces, napkins and sugars. If for some reason your table does not have one, there are always extra supplies on the window sill by the nursery entrance.
What amazed me is just how shiny and clean the table tops were. No soon as a customer had left, the staff were there to clean...

Curry, but no lounging!
Advantages: Stylish
Disadvantages: We felt rushed, small portions of popadoms and naan
...I found myself in Nottingham at on New Years Eve 2007 and, at the suggestion of a chum who is a big Gordon Ramsay fan, we went to a restaurant that the foul-mouthed chef had worked his magic on in his 'Kitchen Nightmares' TV show - Curry Lounge. I must admit I was a little unsure whether I actually wanted to visit a place that was in enough of a mess that Ramsay had to sort it out, but I assumed that it would probably be fine after he'd finished with it. Besides, it was good enough to win second place in the curry of the year (for Nottingham, I think) beforehand, so it should be pretty good, I thought...
THE LOCATION
Curry lounge can be found at 110 Upper Parliament Street, 2 or 3 minutes walk from the tram stop in Nottingham town centre. It's worth looking up the location yourself online, or at least make sure that the friend...

Stokke Tripp Trapp Chair
Advantages: Easy to clean, Long lasting, Good support for child
Disadvantages: Altering seat/foot plates
...of colours to suit your tastes too.
The main aim of the chair is so your baby/child can sit up at the table with you, (there is no food tray) therefore encouraging your little one to join in with the family and feel a part of what is going on. the way the highchair has been designed means that it doesn't take up much space and is solid so won't tip over. it is pleasant to look at so doesn't have to be hidden away. the main design with the seat and foot plate is that they can be moved up or down to accomodate your child's size, encouraging them to sit up straight and with their feet on a base rather than hanging freely. Most highchairs i've seen, the child ends up sitting slouched or has slid down and ends up in a twisted position.
The wood is easy to clean, and the covers are washable, although it is harder to take the seat cushion off...

The devil's chair
Advantages: Lots of twists and keeps you guessing to the last minute
Disadvantages: can be a little confusing, all in all a good film
...The Devil?s Chair
Film only review
Nick West took his girlfriend to a disused assylum and they both dropped some acid. His date Julie sits on an old abandoned chair and her body is mutilated and dragged into a mysterious black hole. After Nick explains his story to the police he is placed in an asslyum. After four years a brilliant psychartrist takes care of him and takes him and four of his students back to the murder scene.
As Nick arrives back at the assylum he begins having a flashback. The psycharitrist wants to find the truth behind the murder. This film is as gruesome as saw. It has lots and lots of twists. The doctor seems to have other motives for taking them all back there, he wants to summon the monster to our world but it needs sacrifices. This is the real reason we are led to believe for them all being there...

A rainbow coloured chair for your child
Advantages: durable , bright
Disadvantages: none
...We have these little tikes rainbow chairs to compliment a plastic table we use at work.
These little chairs designed for little tots aged 2 to 6 years old, they might be a bit small for some 6 year olds. These chairs measure 32cm L x 30cm W x 41cm H.
The rainbow chairs come in yellow red or blue these are bright primary colours so can be used as an aid to colour recognition. Ask your child to sit on the ?yellow? chair , or what colour chair they are sitting on.
These chairs are very durable they are made of plastic. They are very easy to clean with hot soapy water. They weight 6 kg so not too heave to move.
They have 4 stable legs the back is solid and contoured, gives support and encourages correct posture.
These chairs can be used inside or would be ideal outside. These chairs are great at the paint messy table...

Spice Lounge, Magdalen Street, Norwich
Advantages: Clean, modern, great service
Disadvantages: None
...have ever been in that actually takes your coat to a cloakroom!
The dining area is upstairs. The furniture is modern and the chairs are large, high back, leather seats that are very comfortable. The decor is modern, but then this is to be expected since the Spice Lounge has only been open for a few months.
The smell upstairs is fantastic. You can tell that you are in a curry restaurant, but unlike other curry houses in Norwich the smell is not too over powering.
The atmosphere is very relaxed with soft lighting and soft music. The night I went there it was full of couples and small (quiet) parties. I don't think it is a place where large, rowdy groups would go and try and eat the chili fahl for a 'dare' whilst swilling down 10 pints of lager, being loud, rude, foul mouthed and abnoxious in the process.
The menu is your typical...

I love this chair!
Advantages: Excellent quality, really solid, baby can join in family meals at the table
Disadvantages: Personally haven't found any yet.....
...I'm so pleased with this chair!
The Tripp Trapp is a Swedish design which has been developed in order to grow with your baby right through to adulthood. They have been around for ages, and I know various family friends who have had the same chair(s) for twenty-five years, now using them at the computer or still at the kitchen table. So the longevity of a product like that is a distinct advantage, particularly since with highchairs the usual shelf-life is so short and they end up in the loft / cellar after a few years.
The quality of the wood, and the design, contributes to this longevity. It really feels solid. You have to build it yourself but it's only a few parts and the instructions are very easy to follow.
If you're buying for a baby then you need to buy the baby kit, which comprises of a higher curved back and a front...

The binding chair... not a bind to read at all.
Advantages: An incite into an unknown world.
Disadvantages: Sometimes a little uncomfortable to read.
...On one of my many, many trips to my local library I was thrilled to discover that there was another book sale, unfortunately the books on sale were not of the usual reading material that I go for, hence the review I will now write.
The book I will now review is ? The binding chair by Kathryn Harrison?
As I stated earlier this is not the sort of book I would normally go for, more of a semi fictional history book this only appealed in the fact that it was A, on sale for 20p, and B, I liked the cover! (Sorry I am so shallow!).
The cover doesn?t really give much indication as to what the book is about, aside from the fact that the binding chair in question is the piece of apparatus that Chinese girls sat in to have there feet bound. Not being that knowledgeable on the subject of Chinese history or the barbaric traditions behind...

Tripp Trapp Chair
Advantages: baby to adult use; good posture
Disadvantages: chair can be flipped by child; difficult to get cushions off
...My husband found this chair and we have been very happy with it. We live in a small house and have no where to store a high chair so we got this chair in black (to match our table) and it stays at the table with our chairs. Our son is now 12 months old and we have been using it with him since he was 6 months. We have never used the restraints on it and our son has always sat very upright in it. Other high chairs that he has sat in, he has slumped forward in. This one keeps him in excellent posture. It sits right up to the table and is a perfect height. He sits with us at the table at lunch and dinner and he feels more part of the family. The Tripp Trapp is supposed to encourage good eating habits and manners from an early age as the baby eats at the table with you instead of to the side with a tray. The cost is justified by...
