...A couple of months back I was browsing round my local PDSA shop (a charity which , in their own words supports ' pets in need of vets'). As much as I love watching movies , unless I am really desperate to watch a film , I would never buy a brand new DVD at full price. I would much rather wait a couple of months and pay half the price. I think this is a much more sensible approach as it still allows me to see the movie I wanted , yet without burning a hole in my pocket. Anyway , back to browsing in the shop. I much prefer buying DVDs from a charity shop (providing they are of good quality) as you can pick up bargains. For example the other week I managed to buy four videos for a £1. I think that the fact that I have a video player (as well as a DVD player) whereas a lot of people don't these days , means that it is an advantage...

Kiss Of The Dragon

Advantages: Great fight scenes
Disadvantages: NOt particularly an original story

...Kiss Of The Dragon was released in 2001 and stars Jet Li (Romeo Must die), Bridget Fonda (Jackie Brown) and Tceky Laryo (Bad Boys) and is set in the beatiful Paris. This blu ray release enhances the setting, quality of clothing, everything basically. Its quite a dark film and the blu ray version gives you those little bits of brightness that give you enough hope that the stroy will have a happy ending. Li plays Liu Jiuan, but is constantly called Johnny, and is a top chinese government agent who is bought over from china to assist Richard (Laryo) a french police officer in a international drugs conspiracy. Little does Johnny know that Richard is a bent copper who is the mastermind behind the whole thing. Richard sees Johnny as a nuisance and sets him up for a murder he didnt committ. Kiss Me Mascara

...Kiss Me Mascara is well presented in a metallic tube and is a product of Kiss Me cosmetics. It comes in six shades,black,dark brown,medium brown,dark blue,dark purple and dark green. It has been clinically tested and is fine for contact lens wearers to use. A very different idea altogether and I for one wanted to try it ! The instructions tell me that once I have applied the mascara it will form `tubes` over my lashes making them look long and strong. The application was easy ,the mascara looked good,I used the Dark Brown shade to match my eye colour. ...I tried French Kiss bubble bar a long time ago and I loved it! It is not one of my absolute favourite bubble bars, but it comes close! What To Look Out For Head over to the bubble bars at Lush and look through all of the beautiful solid blocks. They are all very attractive, but their is something especially classy about French Kiss, with its lilac and white swirls and the sprig of lavender. It does look rather classy and typically fresh, and sits nicely in my bedroom whilst waiting to be used. I just make sure that it doesn't get wet, and the scent lasts for ages and spreads around my whole house, making it a beautiful, non-synthetic air freshener too! ...***MISTLETOE KISSES*** This chocolate treat is made by the well known brand Galaxy who makes extremely creamy and delicious chocolate that simply melts in your mouth. This bar was originally released in 2007 and I have since seen it appear in shops at the festive time of year. The bar itself costs approx 50-60p but I got 2 for £1.00 which were on offer at my local Co-Op. You can probably buy these from other local shops and other good supermarkets as well.
