...Where to start! Lidl is a German food Markt and is cheaply priced. (used to Live in Germany and is cheap). The store is brightly coloured and can be vividly seen. Lidl is owned by a holding company called Schwarz and has been established in 17 countries around Europe. Lidl was founded in the 1930's by Ludwig Lidl whom is a retired teacher. Inside the store the layout is: tins and carbonated drinks in the first aisle and alcohol in the last. The chiller always runs along the back wall of the store, with chilled convenience foods. The stores in the UK have become more British than German and offer alot of English food instead of German food, Lidl is German and should sell German food even if in the UK. ...Super Mario Bros is the 2nd best selling game of all time for the NES and it makes its comeback via Wii emulation technology. The game is the same side scrolling action / adventure game characteristic of Mario games. Here, you face Koopa and his band of Koopalings - Ludwig, Lemmy, Roy, Iggy, Wendy, Morton and Larry. You would encounter eight worlds with different themes each. The second world for example is patterned after Egypt. The final world looks like the underworld. A bonus in the game is that the game is filled with extra stages like a ghost ship full of gold coins, a card game and a mix and match game. ...Vincent Ludwig George Kennedy Ed Hocken OJ Simpson Nordberg Overall this is a really funny film which is very silly really but provides so many laughs you have to watch it really! I bought this with the other two movies in HMV for about seven or eight pounds so I will also be reviewing the others soon! Mickey's great clubhouse hunt

Advantages: great fun for the kids,teaches numbers shapes and lots more
Disadvantages: not enough bonus material

...Mickey's great clubhouse hunt is set around Easter. EPISODE 1 The story begins were mickey and his friends are planning an easter party untill the clubhouse mysteriously disappears with Minnie,Donald,Goofy and Daisy inside.So Mickey now has to set out on his adventure to save his friends and try to put the clubhouse back together again. EPISODE 2 Donald gets the hiccups in this episode so all his friends try to help him but end up with the hiccups as well ,they try bouncing up and down and dancing but they have to be quick as they have to sing at clarebelles concert. This is a great dvd to help children with counting,problem solving,different shapes ,but it is also great fun at the same time. Callas' Second Studio Norma

Advantages: Fine performances all round, especially Ludwig and Corelli
Disadvantages: Callas not in best voice

Callas is not in her best voice, her high notes wobbly and piercing compared to 1954. One has the feeling that a performance about '56-'57 would have been wonderful. She sings softly far more often in the 1954 set and she is very tender and delicate in those moments. She is at her best in the second half where her confrontation with Pollione is scorchingly intense and her "Oh Rimembranza"is beautifully phrased. There she is joined by Christa Ludwig's Adalgisa which is nicely phrased- Ludwig's voice in bel canto music is remarkable considering how different this is from her regular repertoire of say Wagner - she can match Callas beautifully in the duets. ...A little bit of Lidl history Lidl is the last name of the man who founded the store, Ludwig Lidl. The company was founded in the 1930's by a member of the Schwarz family. In 1973 Lidl opened their first discount store but then in 1977 the opened another 30. The right to use the Lidl name had to be bought and was bought from Ludwig for 1000 deutsche mark. There is some confusion about the way Lidl is pronounced, most comonly people pronounce it lid-ell but this is wrong. It is actually pronounced Lee-dell which is the german pronunciation. Personally i have always pronounced it lid-ell. I live across the road from a lidl store and it is so handy.
