...Lush Country Bunkin Bath Ballistic: I recently placed an order from Lush despite promising myself I wouldn?t and I noticed one of the Bunny shaped ballistics from Easter was still available for only 95p. I decided I really ought to try it and for that price I couldn?t go wrong. The ballistic, (a fizzy bath bomb), is shaped like a rabbit and is a lovely fresh, grass-green colour. You can see lot?s of flowers in it, like the grass clippings from an English meadow in spring. It?s quite a cute looking ballistic and would be great for children as well as grown-ups. Once dropped into the bath, (I would recommend getting in first as this contains LOTS and I mean LOTS of flowers and a few bits of bell shaped confetti and you don?t want to sit on them), it fizzes around making your water a lovely green colour like some sort of forest lagoon...

MY PERFECT WASHDAY GREENS

Advantages: leaves hair and scalp looking and feeling extremely healthy

...Greens is a shampoo which is specially formulated for people whom have greasy, oily, limp, lifeless or dull hair types so basically this particular shampoo is suitable from most hair types. The Washday Greens Shampoo was one of my very first Lush hair care products which I bought and to be honest I love this shampoo as it really does a good job at sorting my hair out. Like all of the other Lush products the packaging is kept to a minimal and is very plain and basic, the shampoo is supplied in a tall cylindrical plastic bottle which is see through so as you can see how much of the shampoo you are using at any one given time. On the top of the bottle there is a rather handy flip top lid which you just flip upwards to dispense the shampoo and flip back down again to close the bottle so as the shampoo doesn't leak everywhere. If only every day could be a green day!

...I bought a lot of ballistics and bubble bars from Lush recently and have been slowly working my way through them. So far, I've only got round to using the ballistics, but on my birthday the other day, I decided to go for a bubble bar. I've only used one bubble bar before, which was the creamy candy one, and it was OK, but I wasn't overly keen on it, so I wasn't too sure what to expect from this one. Out of all the bubble bars, this isn't one I had even really registered in my mind before, but (and I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous) I picked this up in the shop because it reminded me of Kermit the frog!! ...Lush has been around for years now and they are located all over the country in shopping centres, cities and towns. You can always smell when there is a Lush nearby, it smells absolutely gorgeous with a mixture of some many different flavours! Store Itself At lush you can buy a variety of homemade soaps, shower gels, moisturisers, bath bombs, cleansers, massage soaps and lots more. They offer a naturals range and also a vegan range which I find is absolutely brilliant. There are so many different scents available from 'Honey I Washed the Kids' to a cleanser with charcoal in it!! Prices The prices are fairly reasonable in all fairness. Lush Aromacreme

Advantages: Smells lovely and contain NO aluminium
Disadvantages: none for me

...I have spent years trying to find alternatives to the Carcinogenic deodorants with aluminium. I've tried the Lush hard dry solid deodorant bars and although they smell nice they are difficult to apply. They hurt if you rub them under your arms, they suggest scraping powder off them with your nails - well not great really - you just get the stuff stuck up your nails. I was wandering through our new Westfield shopping centre in Derby and the smell of Lush drew me in as it does every time I pass -the smell is so inviting . Anyway on this latest visit to Lush I was persuaded to try Aromacreme . I always go in with the intention of buying one item and come out with about four and a bill of about £15 + so I do have to limit my visits. ...Mmmm, even thinking about Lush makes me breath deeply as if smelling the gorgeous smell you get as soon as you walk in! I know that it has been round for quite a while but it was only about 2 years ago the first time I went in there, after being dragged in by a friend! Why I was dragged? I don't know, because I haven't walked past without going in since! Lush, well how to describe it, it is quite in its own league! It is a store and basically everything in the shop is organic and has no preservatives! ...Often i have walked by this shop without ever even thinking to go in and try it out as i assumed that the usual soap and hair products i used couldn't possibly be any worse than what lush have to offer. One day i was given a gift set called "Serenity" for my birthday and i was amazed by the results after having a bath. My skin appeared to be more hydrated and soft (i suffer from dry skin) it made me want to go back for more. It's a LUSH experience

This shop is lush!

...My love affair with Lush began a few months ago and since then I have accumulated quite a few of their products. I love that everytime I go in to the store I seem to discover something new! For those who are unaware, Lush sells a range of body products including soaps, shower gels, creams, face washes, toners, moisturisers, shampoo and conditioner as well as many other bath and body lovelies of many different scents! I love the ethos of Lush, they aim to be a very ethical company and from what I have seen they are succeding. Where possible they make items solid (sopas, shampoos, conditioners, bubble baths etc) in order to save on packaging. Lush also transport all their raw materials from countries using boats rather then air travel to cut their carbon foorprint. Furthermore they are replacing more and more of their ingredients...
