Advantages: A joy to use Disadvantages: the buttons on the edge of the keyboard can be accidently pressed
...I brought this product after my previous logitech wirless keyborad had given up after 3 years of constant use. At first i refused to pay for a new wireless keyboard after seeing the cost of them (my old one had been brought for me with my dell pc). I'll just use a wired keyboard that we had in the house, well i lasted about 2 weeks!
While out on a sunday afternoon, i eventually parted with some money for LX710 keyboard and mouse. It was on offer for £29.99.
When i got home i took them out of the packaging and knew straight away that i had made the right decision. It was so much lighter than my old set. I plugged in the usb receiver which is so small you hardly notice it. I put the provided batteries in, this was a bonus in its self and they were not just cheap ones either. I presses the connect buttons and i was off.
I did...
Advantages: Cheap 8 seater, massive load space with seats folded, Disadvantages: sluggish especially on hills,
...First point this is a family car so 0-60 is irrelevant as far as I am concerned, which is just as well. For when it is fully loaded, 7 family and accompanying backage, the measure is well over 30 seconds.
We bought it 4 years ago, previously it had a hard life, a massive rear shunt which was not picked up the AA car inspection or the HPI check, but by mate the mechanic, who instantly noticed the rear end filler patch and respray. I only mention this as it may explain the problems I have had with it.
The quick run down of our LX goes as follows
Seat arrangement is 2 front and two rows of 3, the rear seats positions are not adjustable, the only problem here is the last row which is not suited for someone large who wishes to stretch out
2 Normal front doors and a lhs sliding door for the rear passengers.
Front and sliding...

Review of Nissan Serena LX
Advantages: GOTO makes faint fuzzies easy, more time for observing. Disadvantages: Heavy, just carryable by one if you are strongish.
...The Meade 12" LX200GPS with UHTC (£3999) is a big beast of a scope. It is a Schmidt Cassegrain telescope, which basically means it has a conveniently short tube, about 20" for the 12" (the 12" is the diameter of the tube) model. At the bottom end of the tube is a concave primary mirror with a hole, about 2" in its centre, this mirror recieves light through the top end and reflects it back to a secondary flat mirror which is held in place in the middle of a clear corrector plate at the top end of the scope tube. From this secondary mirror the light is reflected back towards the hole in the main mirror. It passes through this hole to the eyepiece.
It is a GOTO telescope with an inbuilt computer system and hand held contol pad which allows the user to push a few keys telling the scope what you want to see, eg jupiter, saturn, a galaxy...

Review of Meade LX200
Advantages: Clean, crisp output, good bass response, durable and creative design, bang for the buck... Disadvantages: Hard to find...
...My experience with the JBL LX 8 model speakers has been quite exceptional not only exceeding in quality, but overall performance too. While this model speaker produced by JBL is no longer made there are many ways you can still be able to obtain the opportunity to get your anticipated hands on these speakers to give a whirl around the bush. I ordered mine through a friend, and paid $150 for a double-set of these speakers which now occupy the lower portion of my house in the family room.
A solid, and fair deal in my opinion for such an exceptional pair of speakers, made exclusively by JBL.
~~~~~ Sound Output ~~~~~~~
Simply crisp, and clear these speakers output excellent sound. Never on any occasion in the past have I heard these speakers crack or even show early signs of fuzziness, a definite plus in these speakers. Out of my...
Review of JBL LX 8
...Because my desk space is limited - with not a lot of room for wires and mousemats etc. - I decided I needed a cordless optical mouse: the first one I bought was NOT a Logitech mouse - and it was dreadful because, at times, it was eratic and jerky and you had to wait for the cursor to catch up with your movements. It also ate through batteries (I had to change the batteries every week): I despaired because I thought that all cordless optical mice would be like this - but... not true: out of frustration, I'd thought I'd give another optical mouse a try: I bought the LOGITECH LX7 - and it has been absolutely fantastic: it's very smooth/easy to use, doesn't jerk or make you wait - and I do believe the packaging to be correct when it says batteries last up to eight months as it has a power conserve facility - and, happily, I've yet to change...
Advantages: Comfortable, Stay firmly in the ear, Fantastic sound, Can hardly feel that you wearing them Disadvantages: Take a while to get used to putting them on and not being able to feel them much
...Bought these earphones today for £25.99, and I am very pleased with them. I was going to get the MX 90's, but my budget didn't quite stretch that far, but I am glad with my choice.
It took me a while to figure out how to actually put them on, but after using them for a day it becomes almost natural. I could see the design being off putting to some people, but I feel it is a huge advancement over the traditional earphone design.
The sound quality seems to be very good, but I have as of yet to test them with some high quality ripped music, and have so far only been used with my Samsung YP-Z5 upto a quality of about 192 kb/s, but this is mostly what I'll be using them for. The manufacturer quotes the LX 90's frequency response as 19-22,000 Hz, the impedance as 64 ohms and the sound pressure level as 116dB (1kHz/1V rms).
Overall...
...The Logitech LX5 Cordless Optical Mouse consists of two parts. The transmitter which connects to the PC's mouse port and the mouse itself. OK, three parts - a driver CD too.
Installation is straight forward and you can use it without the driver CD but it does add a few extra features so is worth installing. The transmitter has a USB connector but Logitech have included a USB to PS/2 adaptor to ensure it works with all PCs.
One nice feature is the battery warning lamp. Wireless keyboards and mice can be a pain when the batteries die so having a warning indicator to give you time to get more is a boon.
In use, I found it rather small in my palm and I don't have very big hands. I had to adopt a slightly different way of resting my hand on it but it soon became natural so not a huge deal. People with bigger hands may struggle though...
Advantages: 10.2 mega pixels. great features and looks good Disadvantages: bit pricey but none other
...features include:
10.2 Mega pixel CCD
4x Optical Zoom
Advanced Mega Optical Image Stabilizer
Large 2.8'' LCD Screen
Full manual control
Whilst on my trip I often likes having a look at the photos I'd taken recently. This was perfect because the Lumix DMC-LX2 has a wapping 2.8 inch LCD screen on the back. Its huge! The photos look brilliant on it which made me even more keen to come write this review.
As you'd expect from a high quality camera, it needs to be easy to use. Well, this camera couldn't be easier. There are buttons on the top and on the back. They are all big enough to get grip on to push but not so big that they over crowd the camera. The manual, which comes supplied with the camera, tells you everything you need to know about it and tell you how to do the super easy setting up...
Advantages: well-built, good enough picture and sound quality, easy to use Disadvantages: Ethernet on VISTA only (not on XP), rather expensive for what it is
...The picture quality is no better or worse than on other DVD recorders I own from Sony and Panasonic. But compared to these the Pioneer is sturdier. Very well built.
Even so, anyone interested in LX61D for its Ethernet facility should note that this ONLY works with Windows VISTA. You can't connect LX61D via Ethernet to a PC running Windows XP (any flavour). XP users must connect via USB. Your router will see LX61D okay. But XP can't use the connection. Page 125 of the manual makes this clear:
'Use a PC with a Windows Vista operating system. This operation will not work properly on PCs with other operating systems.'
But Pioneer doesn't allude to this on its web site. Sneaky, huh?
So, unless you're running VISTA, forget about Ethernet and think 'USB ONLY'. Then go buy the longest USB cable that will work. Actually this...
Review of Pioneer DVR-LX61D
Advantages: Great Features. Changeable Shortcut Keys Sturdy Construction Disadvantages: Keep in line of sight of transmitter
...The Logitech Cordless Desktop LX700 is a low-cost wireless keyboard and mouse set that includes all of Logitech's usual features. The package comes complete with the transmitter, wireless keyboard, wireless optical mouse, transmitter and software CD.
The keyboard is black in colour, the mouse is black with a reddish tinge. The keyboard has all the usual alpha-numeric keys, with a full numeric keyboard as well as a number of shortcut keys at the top. There is a scroll wheel on the left hand side, and a media panel at the top with play/stop, volume and other controls. The mouse has two buttons, a scroll wheels and a depressed middle button for extra features. With the default installation, pressing the middle button gives a list of the currently open applications.
The software CD includes a number of different applications...
