...The Sony VAIO VGN-FE21M the laptop I am currently using. I am a student who does quite alot of travelling and I use the to keep in touch with family and friends. For the fist year this laptop worked fine apart from the short -cut buttons have never worked, after the first year the silver coating came off the mute, vol. up and vol. down buttons. Aslo into the second year they battery stopped working (I am not sure why i think it may have been to over heating), witch is ever annoying as now I need to have the have it plugged in to use, not ideal when travelling at all. The weight of the laptop is a little on the heavy side, and can add strain when carrying it with other items. 21 - Counting cards pays off.

Advantages: An interesting story, more so because it is based upon fact.
Disadvantages: A bit predictable towards the end.

Even more so because the film is based upon fact. 21 is based on the book 'Bringing Down The House' by Ben Mezrich. What's it all about? The film is centres on the character of Ben Campbell played by Jim Sturgess. He is a student at MIT in Boston, who desperately wants to get into Harvard Medical School to become a doctor. BT bad Talk21 good

Advantages: Reliable, fast, functional
Disadvantages: Nothing special

Signing up for your free Talk21 account is surprisingly easy and takes only a couple of minutes and you're up and running almost immediately. The help function on the site and the instructions are thorough and very user friendly and they will walk you through tasks such as setting Outlook Express to receive your Talk21 messages. The filtering function is a bit more complex and I have to admit it scared me off and I never bothered getting round to it but then (as Mrs D always says) I'm a lazy git. Sony Vaio AR12M Mobile Media center

Advantages: Powerful, Massive screen, Dual core, Fantastic media center,

...The first thing to strike me about the AR21M was the sheer size of the thing, immediately I began to have doubts as to how portable this system would be. I was pleasantly surprised however to find that despit its size it really wasnt too heavy. Size aside how does this machine perform? Well the beast is powered by an Intel core 2 duo CPU at 1.83Ghz, with 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a GeForce 7600 graphics card so should be able to cope with just about anything you throw at it., and BOY DOES IT!! As an avid gamer (When I get time at least) I was Eager to try a couple of the latest titles on it and had no trouble at all playing MOTW II, Oblivion and Mark of Chaos at top resolutions with all the features on, the system did get quite warm but I invested in a notebook cooler for around £20 which the vaio sits on top of and is kept ice cold by. Vaio AR21S - great machine.

Advantages: Quick with dual core, multi-media, very feature rich
Disadvantages: Heavy and large

...The Sony AR21S is generally a highly recommended machine. I have found the machine to perform excellently with every task that I have set it to. I use it as a business machine for writing software including running virtual Linux machines under the main Windows XP media centre. I also use it with Adobe Photoshop for image processing; the 17" wide screen is superb for this. The machine is HD ready and comes with a HD DVD movie. The built in TV turner and blue ray drive completes the all round multimedia package. Now for the downside. The machine is large and heavy. There were initial problems with the blue ray drive not correctly reading DVD disks. Sony technical support was not overly helpful but an update to the driver released about a month after I purchased the machine resolved most of the issues. The built in Ethernet port is 10...
