When it was bought it came in a blue, white and red one2one box, which also included a charger, 2 booklets, a registration form and the SIM card. After registration you also get £5 credit on your account. The 2 booklets were the phone manual which tells you how to insert the SIM, how to charge your phone, and how to use the different functions, such as putting phone numbers in the phone. The second was information about your service provider, in my case one2one. In that it tells about their charges for the variety of ways to communicate, such as phones on the same network, WAP,and text messages. M35i small, sturdy and YELLOW

Advantages: Sturdy, built in aerial, good features, WAP, good sound quality.
Disadvantages: Keylock can not always stop keys from being pressed and the power button is a bit small.

How good is the Siemens M35

Advantages: Looks, size, WAP, shock, dust and water resistance.
Disadvantages: Version 5, and inserting the SIM.

...I brought the M35i last summer, almost as soon as it had been made available on Virgin Mobile. I was upgrading my then Philips Savvy to something a little newer. The first thing that appealed to me, was it's looks. The M35i is a gorgeous little phone. It is apparently shock and water and dust resistant. Making claims like that is fine, cos it's not as if anyone is going to test them! Seriously though, I go to a boarding school and it's survived 2 terms of relatively major day-to-day abuse. Although all my mates phones have to be honest, except a Nokia 8210... It certainly feels the part - heavy, 'rubberised', and it has a solid feel unlike some relatively small phones. The M35i allows you to program in your own ring tune, although only one user created tune can be stored at anyone time. Programming these is rather time consuming...

Siemens M35I - Value for money

Advantages: Nice Size, Light, WAP Functions
Disadvantages: Some Functions take some getting used to

...I came late to the world of mobile phones - I always felt contract phones were too expensive for the limited use I would have for them, and it was only when I got a free phone from a credit card company that I found their uses. That phone was a basic SAGEM phone, which I replaced just over a year ago with the WAP enabled Siemens M35i I must admit I havent used the phones full functionality, even now - the WAP system takes a little getting used to, and without free WAP minutes from the service provider, puts you off exploring and understanding WAP. Small Siemens Phone

Advantages: cheap, small, easy to use,

He did not want a really expensive phone, so decided to look around and see what he could find. He saw the Siemens M35i for £69.99, so he dicided to buy that. It's a small, grey phone and not at all bulky. It has a built in arial so the signal is really good on it. You can get this phone in other colours too like yellow, but he prefered the grey one. It is waterproof and shock proof, so if you dropped it by accident, it would not break. There is an address book to store up to 100 people's name and telephone number. You can also play games too.
