The M800 over priced and unreliable

Advantages: Reception quality on Orange is very good, full slide out QWERTY keyboard
Disadvantages: Battery life is almost nonexistent, inferior to the HTC TyTN 2

...I first purchased this phone around 6 months ago and at first was very impressed. The M800 runs on Windows Mobile 6 which is a fantastic operating system for any phone to run on considering all the applications for business and pleasure that are compatible. In my opinion however the M800 really doesn't do Windows Mobile any favours. Problems started after only having the phone for a month, I almost daily now have to soft restart the phone and although I have very few applications loaded onto the phone it can take around 3 to 4 minutes to load up completely, obviously this is not only frustrating but also very counterproductive. Alongside having to reset this phone every day I have to charge it every night, the battery just about lasts a full day on standby and runs out before I even make it to the charger if I start using the built in Wi...

THE SUPERB K800i

...as you want as you would with an ordinary camcorder. The more free memory on your phone the longer you can make your film. There are also the usual camera effects such as sepia, black and white, solarize, etc. You can choose to take pictures in either portrait or landscape and alter the size of the pictures. My favourite feature on the camera is the frames that you can add around your photo. I have taken quite a few photos, some during the day when it is bright, some in the evening when it is duller and even some in the dark and every single one has been perfect. ...I have recently aquired myself the new sony ericsson k800i on a deal with vodafone. I've had the phone about 3 weeks now and am mostly happy with it! The menu is simple and easy to use with icons that display well what they mean! The toggle button works well enabling moving around the menu easy and slick! I haven't personally used the mp3 function much though when i have it has worked well with good sound quality all the time. The camera is excellent with a 3.2 megapixel cybershot and fantastic flash that enables good photographs to be taken even at night or in dark rooms! The video function isn't great it works in well lit areas but struggles in low light as most video phones do! The only real problem that i have had with the phone is that while texing i reguarly press the take photo button on the right hand side of he phone...

...We've all seen, used or at least heard about the Sony Ericsson (SE from now on) K range which hit the big time with the K700i and has continued to better it's self every time since. The K700i was simple but very effective candy bar phone with a reasonable camera (up with the best of it's time) a large in built memory system and mp3 and radio useage. But had the poor quality screen as a downfall. The K750 took it a stage further with with better quality camera and screen resolution, but had the knack of having a dodgy stick, and their was no lens cover. The K800i though blows all the previous models out of the water. The phone now well known for the advertising campaign running strongly on the fact of the 3.2 MP camera, rather than the other great feature the phone has. .../replacement three times due to Joystick Failure! Phone Death: A strange thing happened about 9months after I bought the phone - the phone switched itself off and refused to switch itself back on! The phone had to be sent off and repaired, and has been fine since. Interestingly one of my friends had the same problem with a k800i - maybe an early software glitch? The Little Internet Button: Very easy to press this button accidentally when calling or texting, causing you to connect to the web. However i think this is Network dependent. My phone has this small button (I'm on o2). However a friend on Vodafone has his button set up for a different function. Overall I think the Pros out way the Cons, and anyone who decides to but this phone will not be dissapointed....
