...As im a music Producer, I use a number of Midi Keyboards when i go to studios. M-audio keyboards are levels abouve the rest within the industry. I previously i owned the smaller version of this the Oxygen8 v2, which i loved, howeveras i was progressing as a musician, it was limiting me on the mellodies i was composing as there wernt enough keys. So i upgraded to the Oxygen 61 which is what im currently using. Im extremely happly with it so far, and feel that it meets all of my requirements not just as a Midi Keyboard but also as a Controller Interface for software like 'Reason'. The Modulation and Pitch Bend Sliders are very useful while recording to generate different effects. M-Audio Fast Track Pro - Great for working with audio on a budget

Advantages: cheap, reliable, portable, easy to use and intuitive
Disadvantages: limited ins and outs, not a lot of leeway for input levels

I originally bought mine as my very first audio/usb interface to use with my Macbook and Logic Pro when I first started university, 2 years ago. I am now in my final year, and have progressed up to using Pro Tools (M-powered, as this is the only version supported by the Fast Track Pro.) I have to date used the fast track pro to create semi-professional projects. The sound quality is, I have to say, very good for a £120 interface, although I have had problems attempting to get a decent input signal strength, especially when using the built in phantom power. Excellent stylish keyboard

Advantages: Comfortable to type on, compact, stylish, has USB ports, cheap

Review of Apple keyboard

Fantastic keyboard, so lovely to type on...

Advantages: Separated keys; very nice to type on, very nice to look at (doh!)
Disadvantages: None really

...! The keyboard's USB cord is quite small although it comes with an extension cord incase you need it. Although the Apple Keyboard was made for the Mac it works perfectly well on Windows (and for me it works on XP/Vista/7 fine). The cmd/command key will link as the Windows key on a PC and the F keys at the top may or may not work - I'm not sure on that one. Overall I recommend this keyboard especially for those that have a Mac - but who says PC users can't purchase this too? :)...

...This is a good quality keyboard that offers good value for money in the short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be anle to get a cheaper version next year. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market. The consumer will have to spend a short period of self-training in order to become fully acquainted with using the product. This can be achieved fairly efficiently by making reference to the guide/instructions that comes in the box. After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore have to recommend the product....

Review of Microsoft MultiMedia Keyboard & Optical Value Pack - keyboard , mouse

  Not just a gamers keyboard

Advantages: robust, feature packed, incredibly useful, stylish
Disadvantages: large, expensive, replaced by an inferior model

...smaller. I can only assume this is to make the keyboard more sturdy and smaller; however I'm sure this must hinder the viewing angle of the LCD. Also in the revised model, there are only 6 'G keys' instead of the 18 on the original model, the scroll volume wheel has been replaced in favour of two buttons, and the colour scheme has been changed from blue to orange. Availability With the arrival of the revised model, Logitech has discontinued support for the original model meaning the only place you can probably pick one of these up is either existing stock or e-bay. I really think this is a shame as the new model looks clearly inferior to the original, and for the same price, it almost looks like a bit of a rip-off. Conclusion The keyboard is great, and I was really hoping that the few problems I had in it would be fixed...

Apple Keyboard

Advantages: Good Multimedia Keys, Flat Desgin, Very Easy to Type.
Disadvantages: Need's OS X Tiger with the latest update or higher, No good on Windows.

...This Apple Keyboard has to be one of the best Apple have ever made. First of with the design, Taking after the Mac Book Keyboard style, it feels like typing on Laptop Keyboard. Typing is very quick and easy. The Keyboard is VERY thin and so it's very easy to move around but will stay where it's put. The Keyboard also has multimedia Keys. These Keys work on OS X good and will work on Windows with Boot Camp Drivers. The Keyboard it self works Plug and Play in Windows but only the standard stuff work. The Keyboard has Brightness, Exposé, Dashboard, Track skip, Pause/Play, Mute, Volume Keys and a Eject Button. A well laid out keyboard

Advantages: Comfortable for a normal layout keyboard, silent

...I have recently bought the Logitech Wave cordless set, and I can say it's a big leap forwards for qwerty keyboards in terms of comfort and functionality. It's a comfortable keyboard for those who do not want to take the time to learn a new layout. Frankly, I was about to buy a true ergonomic keyboard, one of those with seemingly weird layouts, since this one doesn't look all that different from normal keyboards, but the media keys won me over, and I'm glad they did. This thing is truly comfortable. I first tested the set under the Ubuntu 7.04 OS. It worked right out of the box, but obviously the media keys aren't configured to do anything.
