...you can with just a messenger service. Well as the product description tells you this review is on the Trust 120 Spacec@m. As I didn’t actually buy it I don’t know exactly how much it cost but I have seen them priced from between £10 - £15 and for what you get I think its great value for money for what you get. The camera is very simple looking but very attractive at the same time and is basically a sphere with a camera in the middle of it which has a purple focus band around it which enables the user to get the picture they are transmitting into focus and is very easy to use. The camera comes with a stand and mine sits on top of my monitor and is connected up to my PC via a USB cable. Advantages: Cheapest branded webcam I could find, and adequate for MSN Messenger
Disadvantages: Not TFT mountable without blu-tak!

...'follow' your face when you move - and if I decide to start using my camera for surveillance (my car does get targeted a lot!) I might consider upgrading. It would have been nice to have that snapshot button too. But for the price of a take-away, the Trust 120 is a bit of fun, and a great gift for a loved one that spends far too much money on their phone bill. I'm normally fussy about what I buy but I'm happy enough with my Spacecam and will be back to get one each for my mum and sister.... Read review

Advantages: One of the cheapest webcams you can buy
Disadvantages: obviously not as high quality as bigger brothers

...have this camera working in well under 10 mins. The CD included in the package contains two programs: -ArcSoft Photoimpression 3 -ArcSoft Videoimpression 1.6 (The versions may since have changed on newer products) These two programs are really useful if you had the intention of videoing your self or taking photos - of course the camera can take still images, but for its price don't expect them to be the same quality of a digital camera. If you are thinking of buying the 120 spacec@m 2nd hand from an auction site or similar place, then watch out that it has the CD included. While it is possible that you can get the drivers off the Trust site easily, the software isn't as readily available. Having said that, if you just want to be able to see your friend on a chat program (like MSN messenger for example) then you won’t need... Read review
