Advantages: No other alternative! Disadvantages: Just all round nasty
...doesn't even start to cover it. Without wanting to go into too much detail and put people off their dinner, it was gross and the floor clearly hadn't seen a mop and bucket for quite some time.
I can only assume that this service area is so bad because it has a captive audience, and there are no other services for some 20 miles. Also, it's right on top of the last junction before the QE2 bridge (or the first junction after the Dartford Tunnel, depending which way you're travelling!) so I imagine that it's a convenient place to stop for a lot of M25 travellers. But convenient it may be - pleasant it most certainly isn't....
Advantages: Convenient, open 24 hour, clean, good service, food tasty and hot Disadvantages: slightly on the pricey side (but certainly comparable with other service stations)
...After an early start today (5am), because of family commitments, we had no kids for the day, and decided to take a ride to Kent (from Swansea) to visit my sister-in-law. En-route, we decided to stop off for something to eat, but the Little Chef's do not open until 7am. After some ill-informed advice from my other half, which left us in the middle of nowhere, with no food to be seen, we decided to bite the bullet and visit the Road Chef in Clackett Lane in between junctions 4 & 5 on the M25.
The entrance to the service station is poorly signposted, and I would advice caution on approach, else you could find yourself in with the lorries and coaches. There is a large car park there which offers two hours free parkings, after which there is a daily fee. This car park however, is home to a number of very severe sleeping policemen...

Review of Road Chef
...M25 Racer is a very basic game with not very good graphics and absolutely horrific music. It is full of 2d people and buildings and lampposts and tables and chairs and railings and gates and cars. The police chases last for about one minute and the chance of getting caught are very very very very very very very very very slim indeed. The best bit about the game is typing your name into the leader board and buying a mini. If you want to buy a bad game then this game is for you. If you want my advice do not not not not not not not buy it....

Review of M25 Racer (PC)
Advantages: good for a low spec machine Disadvantages: not very good shelf life
...Ever wanted to race down England most famous motorway the M25 in a mini? Well probably not huh, ok well your going to get the opportunity anyway. M25 racer is a racing game where you race down the M25 at breakneck speeds in car such as mini's, BMW's and Jaguar's, avoiding the police where ever possible.
The realism in the game has something to be desired though it must be said, flying down Britain's busiest motorway at over 200mph is just not realistic, and the scenery, well its mad, old English red phone boxes, police driving land rovers, and the number of red buses and London black cabs are unbelievable. Having said all this who ever said that games should be true to life, well probably most of us at some point but its still fun and as well as racing on the M25 you also get to race around London and Oxford.
The graphics are ok...

Review of M25 Racer (PC)
Advantages: Simple to use Disadvantages: Quite bulky and heavy compared to some.
...Everyone was getting them so we decided it was time we got one too. A digital Camera that is. We were also about to go on a two and a half week holiday and that would mean lots of films.
Being our first we didn't want anything too complicated. We had looked at them before but not understood half of the jargon so I went home and had a good search on the internet. Many sites will explain the details to you and it is useful to print this out and take it with you.
So armed with our info we set off to our local comet, without the children!, to have a good browse. After a good look, going through all the various specs, decided on the Toshiba PDRM25. It came with an 8mb smartmedia card and a 16mb one free, I think that's what swung it. I just love freebies. I can't remember exactly what we paid now but it was around average...

Review of Toshiba PDR M25
...Okay so for 30 quid you don't expect The Ritz but you do expect a clean room to sleep in for the night. But that wasn't the case when me and my fiance went there for one night on 11/6/07.We were only staying for one night as I had won tickets to a gig in London, and as I'm from Essex(I live in Wales) I thought it would be appropriate to spend the night there.
The room comprises of a TV which would'nt go over a certain volume so was hard to hear, a plastic chair and small desk, a sink with leaky pipes and water stained carpet underneath. There is also a double bed and a single bunk bed.
With only one toilet to 6 rooms,it was a terrible mess with alot of 'stains' in the bowl.It was also very claustrophobic and plastic within the toilet area.
The walls in our room had tea and other dirty marks all over the place. We had dirty towels...
...Man - departing with £33.13 is tough for a part time worker/student. along with a hugely expanding budget for beer, vodka and Dutch porn(oops did I just say that), Amazon were a little pricy. But I was so amazed by the speed of their delivery that price(for once) went straight out of my cerebrum and up the M25. I log on at about 22.10 am to be greeted rather unfortunately by a host of search engines, which take a further 20 mins to locate the impending computer game purchase (Music 2000 PC. Codemasters). I have been searching for this game everywhere and unable to find it I decided to make my first ever internet purchase. The caption next to the game says expect delivery between 1-2 weeks. Well - I thought that is typical. Anyway - not put off I exchanged my details, somewhat cautiously i might add. To my surprise a package arrived...

Review of Amazon.co.uk
Advantages: Close to shopping centres, great for families. Disadvantages: Noisy if windows open- traffic
...This is the best value for money if you wish to visit London but not spend too much.
We have stayed at the hotel 8 times and we have booked to stay at the end of August for the bank holiday weekend 2 nights for a family of 4 is costing us £108. This is room only but worth the money for the comfort and location of this hotel.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hotel: The hotel is situated next to the M25 not far from the dartford bridge etc. The road is very nosey but the hotel has double glazing windows which block out the noise.
The Premier Travel Inn has an integral pub restaurant which provides a selection of evening meals, we had a lovely steak meal here and the food was excellent and the staff friendly. Breakfasts are available at £7.50 for a buffet type meal. Parking...
Advantages: Friendly communities, Large Regional A&E Hospital, Sports Centre & other sporting facilities, swimming facilities, plenty of open spaces, Town Park, good rail link and public transport, close proximity to London and M25 Disadvantages: Regarded by some as a typical new town
...Harlow is not just another New Town it is a lively and vibrant town situated in West Essex (on the Hertfordshire border),25 miles north east of London and less than 40 miles from Cambridge.
It is close to the M11 (Junction 7) and M25 (Junction 27) motorways giving excellent links to the South, the Midlands and the North.
The town is also destined to be on the Sustrans national cycle network.
London's third airport at Stansted is just 20 minutes away by road and a fast train service also links the town to airport, as well as London (Liverpool Street Station) and Cambridge. The East Coast and Kentish ports are also easily accessed, as is the Channel Tunnel .
Harlow is a thriving community with good business links and excellent facilities making it a popular choice for people to live and work.
Harlow boasts one of Europes...
