...My experience
I have been dabbling in music since the age of fifteen ( ten years) starting off deejaying with a view to producing my own music, over the last year i have found myself with more time to enjoy this part of my life and therefore borrowed some hardware from a friend, step up the "edirol pcr m50". Its a midi controller/ synthesizer with 49 keys, 12 velocity curves 27 assignable controlls ranging from roatrys, sliders switches and even 2 pedal ports. The keyboard is also fitted with a pitch bend / modulation lever 15 memory set locations and midi input and output ports . Setting up and installing was easy although i didnt have the original driver disk the website was easy to manouvre and find the drivers i required. I linked the product up with my software of choice and although i struggled to set up the faders and rotary...

Review of Edirol PCR-M50
Advantages: Modern Looking/ 5 Year Guarantee Disadvantages: Not The Best Speaker(s)
...Another home audio speaker to pass through my household is this - the Mission m50.
The speakers come packed in a box, with an image of the speakers on it, so you can see exactly what you are in for. Also, along with them, comes an information manual, pointing out the various specs and features of the speakers. The manual is easy to read, and the speakers appear (I didn't set these ones up personally) simple to set up.
These speakers are intended for indoor use and once removed from the box, you will realise that these speakers are in actual fact, extremely compact, and nicely designed. The actual dimensions of the speakers given on the box are: Height: 220 mm, Width: 140mm and the depth is 255mm.
The packaging also tells us that: 'The Mission's stylish rounded baffle technique has been developed especially for the m5 series...

Review of Mission M50
Advantages: Reliable product Disadvantages: Not flat screen
...So my ACER flat screen monitor at work gave up the ghost last week and Bob the IT Donut said that I could have a replacement flatscreen monitor but it would take 7 - 10 days until it was here. In a sinister manner, he leaned forward and whispered in my ear: "follow me, Wayne". I picked up a pen with which to stab him in case things got a bit tasty and followed him out of the office.
We went a place in the basement affectionately called "the dungeon" and he showed me his wares! "Take your pick", Bob said as I surveyed the treasure before me. Keyboards, mice, computers, monitors piled dungeon ceiling high and standing room only!
I picked out a Hewlett Packard M50 monitor, which is very similar to the one I have at home, though with a slightly different spec.
I'm writing this review in a "non-teccie" style, and I hope you...

Review of HP Pavilion M50
Advantages: Still going strong after four years; superb resolution Disadvantages: It's not a flat screen
...I am sooooo not technical and I wrote the accompanying HP Pavilion PC review to this product in a "non-teccie" style that seemed to appeal to most people who left a comment on it. Given that review's success in style and accessiblilty of information, I am happy to do the same for this relating product. (Which is good because you're dealing with someone who has to get his wife to set up the Playstation if I need to move it from the bedroom to the back-room).
WHAT'S THIS THEN?
It's not a television or a microwave. It's a monitor - the device you're using at the moment to read this review on. The M50 as a product is about six years old and I picked mine up in March 2000 because it was bundled in with HP Pavilion 6712 (see previous review). So as far as the M50 goes I had no choice in the matter, but sometimes having no choice is...

Review of HP Pavilion M50
Advantages: Sleek, Light, Small, Modern Disadvantages: Poor games, Small buttons
...The Siemens M50 in my opinion is a modern mobile phone. Its small (110mm long, 45mm wide), lightweight (90g with battery) and sleek looking. However it only comes in two colours ? blue or orange (the blue looks more sophisticated, the orange stands out)
The buttons on the phone can take some getting used to ? especially if you are like me and went from a Nokia 3310 to the Siemens M50. The power off / hang up button is also small. However, the mobile has ?magic buttons? so that you can access games, for example, fast and easily with just one press of a button.
The M50 has a very good diary and reminder function. I often use this function to remind me of birthdays or anniversaries or even business meetings. The alarm clock is also a good function if you use it regularly. You can select what days you want the alarm to be activated...

Review of Siemens M50
Advantages: Cheap and easy to use. Disadvantages: No LCD screen.
...If you are looking for an inexpensive Video Camcorder with lots of features then this might be the one.
I bought this Video camera about 4 years ago in a sale from Comet, so I have had plenty of use from it and have found it very easy to use.
The Samsung VP-M50 HI8 Camcorder uses 8mm size tapes with 90 minutes recording time.
The 550x Digital Zoom is really quite amazing, I've used the zoom just to get a close -up look at things and not just for recording.
There are lots of functions which are really quite easy to use and the manual is very easy to understand with lots of diagrams to make it even easier.
As this is one of the older Video cameras there is no LCD viewfinder......so if you want to watch playback immediately after recording then you have to view through the soft rubber eyepiece.
The quality of the picture...

Review of Samsung VP-M50
Advantages: Cheap, good-looking, small, easy to use Disadvantages: didn't come with film, difficult to find extended life battery
...Yawn! Sorry, this opinion isn't going to be one of my most exciting but Pakalang suggested that I wrote an opinion about it after reading my Unbeatable op (so you all know who to blame!). I also must apologise for the 'untechnical' nature of my writing, I am a technophobe and as the title states this camcorder was designed for the likes of me!!
I will actually ask Ciao to move this opinion as the VP-M50 is just an 8mm and not, as the category states, digital camcorder. My mission was to find a basic camcorder to take on holidays, nothing too flash (or nickable!) and as small and as cheap as possible. I did find one cheaper camcorder (by £20) but it was huge and very, very ugly!
This camcorder was purchased from Unbeatable.co.uk (they come very highly recommended, see op for further details). It cost £222.50 from Unbeatable...

Review of Samsung VP-M50
Advantages: Reliable Disadvantages: Too large, sooooooooo 2000
...designed to look great and to work better with HP Pavilion PCs, but these technically advanced displays are super-easy to use and super-easy to customize based on your application needs and personal viewing style. You can choose from three budget-fitting models, so buy an HP Pavilion display to complement your HP Pavilion PC... You'll see the view is great. HP Pavillon M50, the one-touch display, tunes automatically and delivers the perfect picture on the15-inch display, the built-in speaker mounts give you a full-blown multimedia experience"
I'd agree with most of this. The speaker mounts are OK but add to the width of the product and can prove cumbersome so Wayne bought some smaller, external speakers from Game for £25.
Selected Specs:
CRT - 15"
Device Type Display / CRT
Built-in Devices: Microphone

Review of HP Pavilion M50
Advantages: Compact, Great Value! Disadvantages: Touchpad can be annoying.
...Unfortunately, the Equium M50-244 wasn't my first choice of laptop - I learned to regret that.
I was given a basic Advent as a gift; it was ok for about a month, then one day simply stopped. No explanation. Since it was a gift, we returned it and ended up with an "upgraded" Advent. No more than a month later - the SAME THING HAPPENED.
When we returned to PC World, the Toshiba Equium was the next step up PRICEWISE, but spec wise, it was a downgrade. HA! I thought that the name Toshiba might offer a better product, thankfully I was right!
However, I prepared myself for a slower computer, one that I would have to watch what I downloaded - would have to be careful about putting extra software on.
I was SO wrong!
From the minute I started up the Equium M50-244 it has been smooth sailing, very quick and it has surprised...
Advantages: Small, cool design Disadvantages: Very small Ah battery
...I don?t think I am Siemens addicted but all my phones till now are from this brand. I just like them so much and I think they give me best what I need from a mobile phone. One of my favourites is Siemens M50. It?s just 97 g and it has an ideal size for me - 109 x 46 x 23 mm. I am spending my days travelling here and there I found it?s very easy to keep it in my pocket and to be sure that I don?t forget it somewhere. The M50 has a very good diary and reminder function too, which helps me in my daily routine. The organizer functions are quite good as you can use the alarm to remind you of important things. The main colors for this phone are in Chromium Blue or Orange and I personally like the blue one.
Some functional details: The Sims card for the M50 can hold 250 telephone number entries, which could be grouped together...
