... BINATONE MA760 THE PHONE I got this phone about a year ago- from a car-boot! It cost me a fiver, However if this one breaks i'll definately replace it from Argos, where they are priced at around 22 pounds - which is a fab price considering they feature an answering machine. The phone is black and silver in colour at the front and plain black at the back, The charger dock is also black and silver, with two lights on the front. The green one is to tell you that the phone is on the dock- although there is a loud beep that also tells you its connected on the cradle correctly. The red light is telling you that the phone is being charged or if the light is off, its telling you that its fully charged. Select a bargain

Advantages: Cheap good qualtiy clothing
Disadvantages: Could do with bigger stores

...I recently discovered an excellent little shop named select. I found this little aladins cave which is packed full of low budget bargains in Rutherglen shopping centre which i usually only visit for a cafe lunch as the shops in recent years really havent been up to much but when i noticed a new shop had filled the space of one of the many vacant retail units i couldnt resist going in for a quick browse. Before i knew it i had been in the shop for more than 45 minutes and was making my way to the till with arms full of pretty summer dresses and a few other goodies. I purchased three dresses to wear over leggings. This is not ma's bar it's mine!

Advantages: Wonderful aroma, unmessy to use, gives lovely soft skin
Disadvantages: None at all it's ace!

...Mother nagging me about the mess and scum so I'm trying to avoid these arguments! This stood out as being simple and another thing I've found with Lush is that the calmer looking products that sit in the background are the jewels in Lushes crown. They are products that stand the test of time where as your more glitzy products are fads and disappear without hesitation and never get to be seen again. They are replaceable. The Ma bar has been out a while now. It was originally a special and get it whilst it's hot type of product. It's Ma Bar, buy your own!

Advantages: Smells good, lots of bubbles, one of the cheaper bubble bars
Disadvantages: Doesn't look overly exciting, murky water

...I know, no Lush review in a while! Well I'm making my way through my box of goodies and Ma Bar was next up to try. The bar, originally released as a special Mother's Day limited edition, has become one of Lush's best-selling bubble bars. While they suggest giving it to your mother, mine doesn't have a bath at her house so the pleasure is all mine! The bar is rectangular with half brown and half a creamy-white, divided down the middle and with a sugar lump pressed in. I'm not entirely sure why they did that, but I'm sweet enough thank you very much and a little tired of bits in my Lush baths, even if they are supposed to melt, so threw it out. (Admittedly not before licking it. It tasted like soap, not recommended). The bar smells sweet like honey and toffee, pretty much the exact same scent as the Honey I Washed the Kids soap...

...A friend and I met for lunch at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh. We decided to go to Ma Potters Chargrill which is on the second floor of the centre and is accessible, by escalators, stairs or by the lift. As you approach the restuarant, which is not behind glass, you get the delicious aromas of the food! MMMMM we thought. We walked into the pleasantly decorated restaurant and within seconds were seated before even reaching the 'Please wait here to be seated' sign. We got a table right next to the window which overlooks the water and the Royal Ship Britania! It is lovely to sit here and watch the ships sailing on the water or just to look at the Britania. Exposure Joystick MaXx - High quality bike light - but exclusive

Advantages: Bright!! Small, light, VERY High Quality, Narrow beam with long throw, Tough, Good battery life.
Disadvantages: Sphincter-tighteningly expensive, Narrow beam, Not really for bar-mounting. Overkill for the road.

Expect to be able to see 50 meters ahead on a dark road. It has three power settings and a flash mode. Power 1 is like a bright bike light, 2 is bright enough for most road applications and 3 will irritate other road users if you shine it directly at them. Application: This is, first and foremost, an MTB light and if you're using it as such then you'll need a bar mounted light to give you some idea of the shape of the trail. This'll cut through the darkness to give you a better look ahead or around corners. On it's own it will make your ride very interesting indeed. On the road you can select a lower power mode and get very good illumination on the road ahead with the top mode reserved...
