ok, so to start,
it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are.
this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop.
The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop.
The price is quite steep however, but i believe, if given the money, it is...

Although Maxfactor's tagline is "The Makeup of Makeup Artists", it would really be better applied to MAC, as I've yet to come across a Makeup Artist who doesn't rave about the range and have a box stocked to the brim with hundreds of pots of MAC colour. ...This is a truly wonderful foundation. I think when choosing foundation, one must do it carefully. It's so easy to go wrong and there are so many things that you can mess up on. MAC are a fantastic company with a wonderful range of products. Their counters in department stores look classy and their representatives are flawless.
Appearance:
The compact is black and has space underneath the powder for a puff or sponge. The powder feels soft to the touch. There is a small circular mirror which is perfect for application on the move.
Use of product:
I first started off using a large powder brush for application but found I was having to use a lot to get the desired effect, and it wasn't really blending well. I was recommended by a friend to use a puff instead. This worked perfectly and a few strokes of the puff over the powder provides...

...I love MAC lipsticks! I fist discovered them about 4 years ago and haven't looked back since! I do still use other brands like Dior, Lancome, Clinique and Urban Decay, but when I want a nice, vibrant lippy that will stay put, I always go for my MAC!
I own about 30 odd MAC lipsticks and my shades vary from nude, to pinks, purples, reds and the odd blue. I love to experiment with different looks and MAC definitely helps me to achieve that! I often fall in love with their limited edition shades, but sadly for me they are limited edition and I either have to wait around for a relaunch or try and get it from Ebay or perhaps they pro stores.
The lipsticks are very smooth and apply nicely and evenly and feel very comfortable on the lips. They stay put as well and even when I don't use a lip liner, I don't have problems with them bleeding...

...I have one lipglass from mac in the shade 'plus luxe', which is a bright red. Unfortunately this does not appear to be listed on the mac website anymore, leading me to believe it may have been limited edition. I will therefore attempt to make this a generic review of lipglass in general and hope that it holds true for the rest of the collection.
For starters, the lipglass retails currently at £11.50 on maccosmetics.co.uk. Each tube contains 4.2ml of product. The gloss has a black top with a wand attached, this screws into the tube of lipglass. The wand picks up a very ample amount of product, the top of the tube is wide enough to let it pass through without scraping all the product off which is a bonus.
The lipglasses contain what looks like very fine glitter dust in them, giving the lipglass an irridescent light reflecting quality...
Advantages: Pigment does not streak or cake, is easy to blend and long-lasting. Disadvantages: Quite expensive
...I've been using MAC Pigment for about a year now, they are basically a loose colour powder that contains ingredients to help it adhere to the skin. I always use an eye primer before application of the Eye pigment.
I usually buy my pigment from the MAC website where they retail at £15, they come in a 7.5g pot which lasts me about 6 months so in my opinion its worth the price. I currently own Cornflower which is a blue colour, Golden Olive which is green and Fuschia which is purple.
I apply the pigment with a brush and you can build the colour up for a deeper effect. If you wet an eye liner brush you can apply the pigment as an eye liner however there is not much difference between wet and dry application in my opinion. If you want to you can mix pigment with lip gloss to make a lip stain.

Advantages: matte..even coverage? Disadvantages: drying, looks ashen and chalky, pad is pretty useless
...While MAC have impressive range of colours.. they do I think need to improve on their texture. The packaing in simple matte black plastic with the MAC logo imprinted on top. once you open the compact you have the coloured powder on top and underneath the powder you can open up to find another space for a powder puff...
In my experience the powder puff adds too much powder to the face and its best applied with a large powder brush instead to give it a lighter coverage. As this is more than a pressed powder it is in fact a full foundation you can get away with applying this staright after concealor and it stays put for about 4 hours. Its great for oilier skins and summer time as the powder formula absorbs all that oil.. on the downside it does leave a strange colour behind..
for myself it gave an ashen almost chalk appearance - even...

...I started a new job, and with my first pay cheque I decided to really splash out on some nice new makeup. I think this was an impulse purchase more than anything, I found it on eBay for £10 on a buy it now, with free postage and packing. I wouldn't recommend going on eBay for MAC however, as recently there have been a lot of fakes popping up on there. I was lucky, this is the genuine stuff!
I've tried many foundations in my time, mostly liquid - up until recently I have avoided powder and mineral foundations, since I've always thought they were for women with good skin (mine is terrible, really, really bad) but since this was half price anyway, I decided to get it to wear over the top of my normal liquid foundation. Yes, I need that much coverage.
