PowerMac G4, Great Value For Money

Advantages: CHEAP, good quality, OSX machine
Disadvantages: Loud-ish Hard drive, incompatibility issues, bad onboard speakers

...I am extremely impressed with my PowerMac G4 and have completely switched over from Windows to Mac. Overall my experience with this computer has been stressful but has payed off. I got the computer cheaply at £2, i bought it for the sheer hell of it hoping to scavenge parts for other computers, turns out it only needed £30 or so to turn it into a running machine, and a relatively quick one at that. 1GHz Processor and 512MB of RAM. I am impressed by its speed when running OSX Tiger 10.4 and it is quite reliable and quick. i will stop telling a story and carry on with a more in depth review. Speed: The overall speed of this computer is fantastic for me, although i know its not the best of computers, there is minimal lag, and because i am a media student Mac is a big help, meaning no tricky file crossovers between college and home...

Apple Power Mac G4 Reveiw

Advantages: Cheap, Runs OS X, Looks nice
Disadvantages: Noisy, Not That Fast

...Apple are the best makers of computers and OS but if like me you dont have much money then the G4 is probably the one to go for, as it has all the greatness of apple mac at a much lower price. I got my G4 off of ebay for a very reasonable price about 5-6 months ago and it was a great change from my old dell PC which was painfuly slow and overloaded. External Issues: The G4 Quicksilver is a very sexy and nice looking tower computer although some people dont like the sliver effect i think it makes it look sleek and proffesional, also some people dont like the fact that it is finished in plastic but i think this mackes it look nice and shiny. The Apple of my eye (iMac Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz - 20")

Advantages: Reliable, fast processing, stylish, easy to use
Disadvantages: Could do with a couple more USB ports

...This in my opinion, has to be one of the best purchases one could ever make. Upon getting my iMac, I have and never will go back to using a PC! The iMac is so fast and efficient, and so easy to use. Graphically it makes sense, and things are ordered logically, and it is very easy to find files and folders. The 20" screen size is plenty big enough, and I have purchased a TubeStick to watch TV on my Mac. It is just like having a smaller flat screen TV. I love the design of the iMac; it is sleek and looks great. The thin keyboard is ultra trendy! In terms of installing and uninstalling software, I have found it to be a piece of cake. Again, everything is logical and if you don't like something, just sling it in the trash can! I have never had any problems in terms of it crashing, or not working from first boot. It is incredibly reliable...

Advantages: Fantastic and unbeatable range of colours and finishes
Disadvantages: Dislike the frost texture, some aren't very long lasting, some can be drying

...When it comes to makeup, lipstick has to top the list as my must-have item. I have annoyingly pale lips which look odd against my slightly lighter than olive skin so I need a bit of colour on them to perk up my complexion. My makeup collection consists of lots of lipsticks and generally speaking, MAC is my go-to brand, due to their vast colour collection and the variety of finishes that they offer. Although Maxfactor's tagline is "The Makeup of Makeup Artists", it would really be better applied to MAC, as I've yet to come across a Makeup Artist who doesn't rave about the range and have a box stocked to the brim with hundreds of pots of MAC colour. The colour is the real selling point of the range: unlike other brands, they focus all of their energy on makeup rather than sidelining in skincare, which means that the sheer variety of colour...

Mac Cosmetics Lipglass

Advantages: A long lasting well pigmented product.
Disadvantages: Price and can be drying to the lips once removed.

...I have one lipglass from mac in the shade 'plus luxe', which is a bright red. Unfortunately this does not appear to be listed on the mac website anymore, leading me to believe it may have been limited edition. I will therefore attempt to make this a generic review of lipglass in general and hope that it holds true for the rest of the collection. For starters, the lipglass retails currently at £11.50 on maccosmetics.co.uk. Each tube contains 4.2ml of product. The gloss has a black top with a wand attached, this screws into the tube of lipglass. The wand picks up a very ample amount of product, the top of the tube is wide enough to let it pass through without scraping all the product off which is a bonus. The lipglasses contain what looks like very fine glitter dust in them, giving the lipglass an irridescent light reflecting quality...

MAC lipstick

Advantages: wide colour range and finishes, vibrant colour, highly pigmented, smooth and non-drying

...I love MAC lipsticks! I fist discovered them about 4 years ago and haven't looked back since! I do still use other brands like Dior, Lancome, Clinique and Urban Decay, but when I want a nice, vibrant lippy that will stay put, I always go for my MAC! I own about 30 odd MAC lipsticks and my shades vary from nude, to pinks, purples, reds and the odd blue. I love to experiment with different looks and MAC definitely helps me to achieve that! I often fall in love with their limited edition shades, but sadly for me they are limited edition and I either have to wait around for a relaunch or try and get it from Ebay or perhaps they pro stores. The lipsticks are very smooth and apply nicely and evenly and feel very comfortable on the lips. They stay put as well and even when I don't use a lip liner, I don't have problems with them bleeding...

...Apple mac-books, where to start... ok, so to start, it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are. this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop. The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop. The price is quite steep however, but i believe, if given the money, it is...
