...When it comes to makeup, lipstick has to top the list as my must-have item. I have annoyingly pale lips which look odd against my slightly lighter than olive skin so I need a bit of colour on them to perk up my complexion. My makeup collection consists of lots of lipsticks and generally speaking, MAC is my go-to brand, due to their vast colour collection and the variety of finishes that they offer. Although Maxfactor's tagline is "The Makeup of Makeup Artists", it would really be better applied to MAC, as I've yet to come across a Makeup Artist who doesn't rave about the range and have a box stocked to the brim with hundreds of pots of MAC colour. What are you trying to hide? Mac concealer

Advantages: Covers spots and dark circles well
Disadvantages: None

...I wrote a review the other day about the studio fix foundation that I bought from MAC. I also mentioned in that review that I also bought a concealer, which was the MAC studion finish concealer. When I went to the MAC store in Westfield shopping centre I was originally just looking for a foundation but when the consultant mentioned a concealer I thought it would be worth a try. I don't have the best skin and am always trying to find ways to hide my inperfections. As well as spots, which apprently I am not growing out of , I quite often have dark circles under my eyes. Mac > PC?...

Advantages: Beautiful design, packed with features, light up keyboard

MAC lipstick

Advantages: wide colour range and finishes, vibrant colour, highly pigmented, smooth and non-drying
Disadvantages: none

...I love MAC lipsticks! I fist discovered them about 4 years ago and haven't looked back since! I do still use other brands like Dior, Lancome, Clinique and Urban Decay, but when I want a nice, vibrant lippy that will stay put, I always go for my MAC! I own about 30 odd MAC lipsticks and my shades vary from nude, to pinks, purples, reds and the odd blue. I love to experiment with different looks and MAC definitely helps me to achieve that! I often fall in love with their limited edition shades, but sadly for me they are limited edition and I either have to wait around for a relaunch or try and get it from Ebay or perhaps they pro stores. The lipsticks are very smooth and apply nicely and evenly and feel very comfortable on the lips. They stay put as well and even when I don't use a lip liner, I don't have problems with them bleeding...

Mac Cosmetics Lipglass

Advantages: A long lasting well pigmented product.
Disadvantages: Price and can be drying to the lips once removed.

...I have one lipglass from mac in the shade 'plus luxe', which is a bright red. Unfortunately this does not appear to be listed on the mac website anymore, leading me to believe it may have been limited edition. I will therefore attempt to make this a generic review of lipglass in general and hope that it holds true for the rest of the collection. For starters, the lipglass retails currently at £11.50 on maccosmetics.co.uk. Each tube contains 4.2ml of product. The gloss has a black top with a wand attached, this screws into the tube of lipglass. The wand picks up a very ample amount of product, the top of the tube is wide enough to let it pass through without scraping all the product off which is a bonus. The lipglasses contain what looks like very fine glitter dust in them, giving the lipglass an irridescent light reflecting quality...

Dazzle your eyes with MAC Pigment (MAC Pigments)

Advantages: Pigment does not streak or cake, is easy to blend and long-lasting.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

...I've been using MAC Pigment for about a year now, they are basically a loose colour powder that contains ingredients to help it adhere to the skin. I always use an eye primer before application of the Eye pigment. I usually buy my pigment from the MAC website where they retail at £15, they come in a 7.5g pot which lasts me about 6 months so in my opinion its worth the price. I currently own Cornflower which is a blue colour, Golden Olive which is green and Fuschia which is purple. I apply the pigment with a brush and you can build the colour up for a deeper effect. If you wet an eye liner brush you can apply the pigment as an eye liner however there is not much difference between wet and dry application in my opinion. If you want to you can mix pigment with lip gloss to make a lip stain. I really like the fact that the pigment does...
