Is the best Windows PC a Mac?

Advantages: Mac quality and styling, plus the ability to run as a Mac or PC
Disadvantages: Not the best machine for serious gamers

...Yes I know that the title sounds like a contradiction in terms, but please read on and hopefully all will become clear..... Being new to the world of the Mac (I have used DOS/Windows for more than 25 years) I decided to wait until I had owned this computer for a couple of months before writing this review. I am glad that I did as the transition to Mac OSX can create a few problems for long time Windows users, and could well have coloured my opinion. Having said that it is probably no worse than "upgrading" from XP to Vista. Things are done slightly differently on OSX and can be confusing at first, but persevere and things suddenly fall into place. Great introduction to Mac OS / Home Theater PC

Advantages: Price, performance, design, OSX 10.5, Windows with Bootcamp, HTPC, remote controll
Disadvantages: Limited upgradability

...I recently upgrade from a 1.5Ghz G4 stealth upgrade Mac Mini to the Core 2 Duo 1.83 Ghz mini and I am very impressed with the performance improvements. With Xbench the Core 2 Duo was approximately twice as fast as the G4 on many tests. The Mac Mini has a very small form factor 6.5"x6.5"x2" which makes it well suited as a Home Theater PC (HTPC) or for desktop use where space is at a premium. I primarily use the mini as an everyday computer with some HTPC use. The computer looks at home both on the desk and under a TV. The Mac Mini is an excellent entry level computer or an introduction to Macs. This is not to say the computer is limited in capabilities. Advantages: Fantastic and unbeatable range of colours and finishes
Disadvantages: Dislike the frost texture, some aren't very long lasting, some can be drying

...When it comes to makeup, lipstick has to top the list as my must-have item. I have annoyingly pale lips which look odd against my slightly lighter than olive skin so I need a bit of colour on them to perk up my complexion. My makeup collection consists of lots of lipsticks and generally speaking, MAC is my go-to brand, due to their vast colour collection and the variety of finishes that they offer. Although Maxfactor's tagline is "The Makeup of Makeup Artists", it would really be better applied to MAC, as I've yet to come across a Makeup Artist who doesn't rave about the range and have a box stocked to the brim with hundreds of pots of MAC colour. iMac beats PC for photo and video.

Advantages: Brilliant screen, fast, runs Windows too
Disadvantages: Virtually none, but not good for DIY upgrades.

What are you trying to hide? Mac concealer

Advantages: Covers spots and dark circles well

...I wrote a review the other day about the studio fix foundation that I bought from MAC. I also mentioned in that review that I also bought a concealer, which was the MAC studion finish concealer. When I went to the MAC store in Westfield shopping centre I was originally just looking for a foundation but when the consultant mentioned a concealer I thought it would be worth a try. I don't have the best skin and am always trying to find ways to hide my inperfections. As well as spots, which apprently I am not growing out of , I quite often have dark circles under my eyes. MAC lipstick

Advantages: wide colour range and finishes, vibrant colour, highly pigmented, smooth and non-drying

...I love MAC lipsticks! I fist discovered them about 4 years ago and haven't looked back since! I do still use other brands like Dior, Lancome, Clinique and Urban Decay, but when I want a nice, vibrant lippy that will stay put, I always go for my MAC! I own about 30 odd MAC lipsticks and my shades vary from nude, to pinks, purples, reds and the odd blue. I love to experiment with different looks and MAC definitely helps me to achieve that! I often fall in love with their limited edition shades, but sadly for me they are limited edition and I either have to wait around for a relaunch or try and get it from Ebay or perhaps they pro stores. The lipsticks are very smooth and apply nicely and evenly and feel very comfortable on the lips.
