Great introduction to Mac OS / Home Theater PC

Advantages: Price, performance, design, OSX 10.5, Windows with Bootcamp, HTPC, remote controll
Disadvantages: Limited upgradability

...I recently upgrade from a 1.5Ghz G4 stealth upgrade Mac Mini to the Core 2 Duo 1.83 Ghz mini and I am very impressed with the performance improvements. With Xbench the Core 2 Duo was approximately twice as fast as the G4 on many tests. The Mac Mini has a very small form factor 6.5"x6.5"x2" which makes it well suited as a Home Theater PC (HTPC) or for desktop use where space is at a premium. I primarily use the mini as an everyday computer with some HTPC use. The computer looks at home both on the desk and under a TV. The Mac Mini is an excellent entry level computer or an introduction to Macs. This is not to say the computer is limited in capabilities. Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz - 17" TFT

Advantages: nice screen, good battery life, fast specs
Disadvantages: large size (price?)

...Apple mac-books, where to start... ok, so to start, it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are. this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop. The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop. Is the best Windows PC a Mac?

Advantages: Mac quality and styling, plus the ability to run as a Mac or PC
Disadvantages: Not the best machine for serious gamers

Being new to the world of the Mac (I have used DOS/Windows for more than 25 years) I decided to wait until I had owned this computer for a couple of months before writing this review. I am glad that I did as the transition to Mac OSX can create a few problems for long time Windows users, and could well have coloured my opinion. Having said that it is probably no worse than "upgrading" from XP to Vista. Advantages: Fantastic and unbeatable range of colours and finishes
Disadvantages: Dislike the frost texture, some aren't very long lasting, some can be drying

I have annoyingly pale lips which look odd against my slightly lighter than olive skin so I need a bit of colour on them to perk up my complexion. iMac beats PC for photo and video.

Advantages: Brilliant screen, fast, runs Windows too

...This is a truly wonderful foundation. I think when choosing foundation, one must do it carefully. It's so easy to go wrong and there are so many things that you can mess up on.
