Review of MAC Lipgloss

MAC Lip Conditioner - Tinted

Advantages: Subtle colour, attractive looking product, price not too high.
Disadvantages: Can be drying, may not be a strong enough colour for some people.

...What? These lip conditioners were available from MAC for a limited time only, and currently have a status of being discontinued. However, I was able to purchase two of these lip tints recently, and there are retailers online that still have this product up for sale. A quick web search is all that is required. Why? When I was searching for this product, I was drawn to the idea of a bit of colour on my lips without the heaviness of a lipstick, or the glossy tack of a lipgloss. I had been toying with the idea of some kind of matte colour for a while, and these seemed to me to fit my vision. So I order two of these lovely lip conditioners online, in Strobe and Currant. Strobe is a coral colour and looks pretty vibrant when you first look at the product. However, applied to the lips it gives a soft hint of colour...

Review of MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner

Makes my lips look iMACculate!

Advantages: Looks great, not sticky, brush makes it easy to apply, good staying power
Disadvantages: quite pricey

...of these was a MAC lipgloss. When applied I was amazed at how light it felt on my lips without any of the stickiness which I?d previously experienced. I was so impressed I picked up one for myself on my next visit to John Lewis which has a MAC counter. The lipgloss I opted for was part of the Lustreglass range and I opted unsurprisingly for a fairly neutral pale pink colour which is named?Luminary AC9?. The Lustreglass range of lipglosses have a bit of shimmer to them. Ordinarily I probably would not have opted for a sparkly lipgloss but this was the type used in my makeover so it was the one I went for. The lipgloss comes packaged in a black cardboard box as do many items in the MAC range. The box is fairly plain looking with just the MAC logo and product name along with a list of ingredients on one side and all written in white writing...
