MAC Technakohl Liner

Advantages: Soft, Easy Application, Blends Well
Disadvantages: Smudges More Than Most Khol Eyeliners, Price, Tacky Name

...I bought this after a friend reccomended it to me as i am a bit of an eyeliner addict and love trying out new stuff. I bought it from Debenhams (instore) and paid £13.50 which ofcourse is a hefty price tag for just one cosmetic, but MAC is worth it in my opinion due to the high quality products and there good reputation. The pencil is sleek and is just right in thickness - not too thin but not at all too thick and it is easy to get a good grip. It is a twist liner which is easy to use and in the 2 months i have owned it has never gotten stuck. The eyeliner is plastic, it is black in colour with the mac logo on the side in silver writing. On the bottom of the pencil is a thick strip with the shade of the product on so it is easy to recognise amonst my other eyeliners. I think the name Technakohl is a clever idea but slightly gimmicky...

The Body Shop Lip Liner

Advantages: Soft, easy to use, attractive packaging
Disadvantages: Bit expensive but lasts well

...I've been using this product for a while now (since I was 15ish and I am now nearly 20) and it's the only lip liner that I buy as it does everything I could want it to do and it is great quality. This lip liner is quite expensive at £8 per 10 gram pencil but it does last really well (6 months at least even with regular use) and is good quality. There are 7 shades available which are: Beech, Clover Pink, Mauve Berry, Mahogany, Pink Brown, Nude and Rosy Red. I own this in Rosy Red which is a pinky red with a beige tint to it if you get what I mean! It's very well pigmented and gives a lovely subtle finish and acts as a great lip liner but can also be applied onto the lips and then smudged if that makes sense if you want a tiny tint of colour, it also is suprisingly conditioning so it doesn't dry the lips out like you would expect...

A lip liner that lasts!

...As anyone who reads my reviews will know, I am a big fan of Barry M products and one thing from their range that I really love are their lip liners. I haven't always lined my lips, though recently I have noticed the difference they make as they can give your lips a natural looking definition and make them seem more 'plump', if done so in the right way. I purchased mine in Boots for £2.95, which I was happy to pay, especially as they had a 3 for 2 on across the range which meant I got it a little bit cheaper. They had around 5 or colours available in my store, though I think there may be more available as mine is quite a small store.
