...Apple mac-books, where to start... ok, so to start, it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are. this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop. The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop. ...This review is being written by my son as this particular mac 'baby' is his new toy. ( I have his old one!). I bought this macbook as a replacement for my 6 month old Black Macbook. Initially i was very impressed with the purchase. There is a marked improvement in functionailty over the standard macbook. The screen is a very nice size making it far more usable at a desk rather than on your lap. The battery life is very good when using the on board graphics adaptor (changeable via logout with the discrete graphics card), with about 4.5 hours with minimal usage. The basic underlying hardware is much improved meaning that it will run windows (vista ultimate in my case) via bootcamp much faster than previous generations with superior graphics and gaming.
