Macromedia MX

Advantages: Great for first time webdesigners on a budget
Disadvantages: Not for experts

...or Coldfusion much, but what I have seen from them is another a Piece of Macromedia Genius. All of the programs have lots of updates and add-ons and templates available for download on the internet. They also come with easy step-by-step guides to help you get started. However if you have the money I would advise buying the CS3 package which is much more up-to-date, but if you are new to web design then...

A box of tricks and not a Roman candle in sight

Advantages: Great piece of software
Disadvantages: Its window menus and price

Advantages: Everything you could want in a web design program
