...Our niece is almost 9 and loves doing anything arty, when I spotted the Made by Me book had been left with the book club in the canteen at work. I knew before I even turned a page she would love it. I ordered it and when it had been delivered I knew that I had made the right choice. The book is "A Stitch-by-Stitch Guide to Knitting, Sewing and Embroidery", the front cover in lovely pastel shades is very appealing and what first caught my attention. The book is split into four chapters: Workboxes Embroidery Sewing and Knitting. The Workboxes chapter is the shortest at just pages, here the reader is shown how to make and decorate their own workboxes for keeping things like wool or ribbon in using things you would find around the house such as a jam jar or an egg box. Hand Made By A genius!!!!

Advantages: Excellent voice, guitar playing and lyrics
Disadvantages: Very short album

..., and a small venue tour. I immediately booked my tickets to go to see him in Liverpool. Again he was amazing. How can one man and one homemade Guitar cast such an impression on me? You just have to listen to his amazing album Hand built by robots to find out why. Although you will first realise that the all the tracks are relatively short (the whole album is just 44mins long) the quality is excellent. You know what they say it?s not the size that counts!! Dream Catch me is Newton?s (first) recognised single and entered the charts last week at an amazing 6th place. (The album was number 3 ) The sound is unique as are all his songs. ...Is he made of Honour? That is the question we are asked in the 2008 movie, Made of Honour. As you can probably guess by the title, it's a wedding themed movie and also a play on words as the real spelling should be maid of honour, but this story is somewhat different. Tom and Hannah have been friends, best friends for 10 years, even since they met at Cornell University in New York. Tom accidently jumps into her bed but, even though he is a bit of a heart throb at uni she is having none of his charms and fatly refuses him. He respects this because I think every other women he has met just falls for his charms but has no substance about her. Tom has a bit of a reputation as a ladies man but with Hannah it's different. They have a real connection, they have regular standing coffee and cake dates and can actually talk about feelings etc...

...the wrong receipt in the wrong bag, it was supposed to be a surprise, you've spoilt it now. So Darren had bought me a Cuisinart Ice Cream Professional (ICE50BCU). Cuisinart have been making professional kitchen equipment for over 30 years, they make everything from toasters, food processors and blenders, steamers, griddles, wok and slow cooker, for dessert, they make a waffle iron and ice cream maker and two coffee machines. Their products are rather expensive but a built to last (a five year guarantee is given on everything) and tend to be used in professional kitchens. I do love cooking and consider myself a fairly decent cook, this is complimented by using better quality cooking appliances, my saucepans are made of Titanium and cost around £400 about 7 years ago, they still look as good as the day I got them, however before this I went...

Made of Honour

Advantages: Very funny
Disadvantages: Predictable

..., suffice to say, that it is a typical chick flick ending. The film is a predictable chick flick but it is a good one for the most part. There are some very funny moments in the film, such as when Tom (played by the very dishy Patrick Dempsey) is dressed for his participation in the Highland Games in a kilt that sits about ten inches above his knees. There is obviously a lot of word play surrounding the fact that Tom is a male maid of honour and this is very well done. All of the main characters, with the exception of Colin (who is just the perfect man on paper), have depth and the viewer is made to really care what the outcome is. We really feel for Hannah as she weighs up whether to opt for the dependable Colin or for the more risky Tom. However, the film does have its flaws. My first issue is with the title of the film...

...Go Audio Made Up Stories Go Audio have a great talent which they clearly show in this album, I personally am in love with their material. Made Up Stories ***** This is a brilliant start to this album and obviously is the album title. This i would say is just a taster to this album because if you listen to it you would know that the tracks just keep getting better. The vocals in this track are brilliant and it has a simple but effective bass line which i like jamming along to. So Quiet You Were **** I'm only giving this a four because nearly every other track is a five atleast. It is a brilliant track which has amazing memorizable lyrics to it and it is worth taking the time to listen to. Brake! Brake! ***** I love the rhythm and drum beat to this track they get your foot tapping or fingers...

Were You 'Saved By The Bell'?!

Advantages: One of the best TV shows from my childhood and one I still enjoy watching now
