Summer Loving! - Magaluf
Advantages: Very cheap, great beaches, plenty of entertainment
Disadvantages: Aimed at younger generation
...and entertainment within themselves also.
Shopping in Magaluf and Palma Nova can be limited, as there are many small spanish shops followed by many liquor and tobacco shops. All of these however are very cheap making it a very cheap holiday. However if you wish to do more shopping there are regular buses to the capital of Majorca being Palma.
This is a highly reccommended area for anyone looking for sun...

Magaluf, Majorca a great fun holiday
Advantages: Lots to do, BCMs, Pirates
Disadvantages: Food can be expensive

Magaluf - mad mad mad
Advantages: Wicked Nightlife
Disadvantages: Didn't come upon any
...have your traditional bars and clubs. A great offer here was 8 euro entrance that allowed you into 4 clubs, boomerangs,car wash,bananas and tokyo joe's and entitled you to a free drink. This makes for very cheap nights out!!
Magaluf is a very reasonable resort. Expect to pay around 10 euro for a meal with drinks included. A great little find is tom browns on magaluf beachfront- british grub served...
