Trick or Treat?

Advantages: Well written and interesting story
Disadvantages: Finished a bit abruptly

...with each other for years, despite once being best of friends many decedes previously when they were at school. Wolf who is eight years old is the youngest child of this family. He visits both old ladies with his brother and sister doing 'trick or treat'. But both are afraid to open their doors to people they do not know. However the following day he meets them both in the garden while helping his mother Petra and invites them to their family Bonfire Party. Both women except with relish this invite and it not before they arrive they realise the other has been invited to. Their meeting reminds both women what their relationship once was and how much they detest one another now and why. With their differing values and ideals in life that date back to the War. Can these two bitter rivals with the help of Wolf somehow bury the hatchet...

His writing has a kind of credibility that means when Neil Gaiman tells you something unbelievable, you start keeping half an eye out for it, just in case. I've read most of Gaiman's novels and short story collections, but had never dipped into the writing he aims at a slightly younger audience. Given that his writing often makes me feel like a child again, I wasn't anticipating any major difference in his writing for the different audience, particularly in a collection of short stories. Trick r Treat is one of these movies. the BASICS TrT is in the horror genre. It is split up into 4 stories that occur on the same night, the Halloween. ...Spelling's piece is a monument of a so-so actress trying to play a bad actress, and in this she does rather well! Christian Campbell as Gabriel sings one of his pieces, showing off for Mark, but it really isn't a musical number. The friend from music class, Perry, sings a night-club song, but this again isn't really a musical number. So the idea of the musical that isn't going to work is sort of built in to the film itself. Magical Dragons!

It tells the story of a small girl called Jess and her blacksmith father, Big John, who rely on their dragon's breath to soften the iron that they use to make things. Problems start when Big John is making a new gate for the king but Huff, their dragon, has run out of puff. Soon some dragon eggs are found and before long a new baby called Puff hatches. She soon becomes part of the family and sets to work helping to make the gate. However, the king is worried that the gate won't be finished and he has spied strangers heading towards the city. ...I didn't really need to buy a JML Magic Eraser; I've got a kitchen cupboard full of cleaning products of every description (which makes me sound as if I'm a cleaning-obsessive when actually I hate housework!). Curiosity got the better of me though, and I was interested to see how a product that claims to "instantly removes stains without detergent" actually works. So what exactly is a Magic Eraser? Good question - as I couldn't find anything on the packaging that actually stated what it was made of. What it looks like is a big chunk of pristine white foam measuring 12 inches by 6 inches and about 3 inches thick (sorry! but I don't "do" metric!). Surely, though it can't be just an ordinary bit of foam, it must contain something that enables it to clean - I only wish I knew what that "something" was. You can use Magic Eraser to...
