Advantages: It's a beutiful and tragic story, your constantly feeling sympathy towards her and feel lucky that you weren't brought up like that.
Disadvantages: It's makes you feel really down although it is very interesting.

...This book was one of the best I have ever come across. It is Adeline Yen Mah's tragic life, her very sad biography, how she was bought up to feel like she had no existence and very unwanted. The story starts off by telling us about Adelin's birth, born the fifth child to an affluent Chinese family her life begins tragically. Adeline?s mother died shortly after her birth due to complications bought on by the delivery, and in Chinese culture this marks her as cursed or ?bad luck?. This situation is enforced on her so much that when her father?s new marriage took place to a lady who has little affection for her husband?s five children. She displayed overt antagonism and distrust towards all of the children, particularly Adeline, whilst favoring her own younger son and daughter born soon after the marriage. The book outlines...

Mah Jongg???

Advantages: Gets your mind going. Great puzzler.
Disadvantages: Will you actually complete a level?

...The game's alright but i haven't got the faintest what the title means. Mah Jongg is a one-player version of an ancient Chinese game. The creator is Yaroze and it's a puzzler type game. The idea of the game is to clear away all of the rectangular playing tiles which are displayed on screen. To accomplish this you must match up pairs of tiles that look the same. Once you've matched them up they are removed from play. The difficulty lies in the fact that only tiles from the outside of the board or tiles that sit on an elevated level can be selected for pairing. Each tile has a symbol on it and some of the chinese element tiles are: bamboo, cherry, chrysanthemum and plum. These can all be paired. The seasons are also included. Emotional biography of Adeline Yen Mah.

Advantages: True story.Enjoyable read. Very interesting
Disadvantages: Very emotional which can be a bit upsetting.

...I recently read this book at part of a school project. I enjoyed it thoroughly and once I had started reading it was difficult to put down. The book is a sad and emotional biography by Adeline Yen Mah. Adeline?s mother tragically died because of complication?s with Adeline?s birth. Her father blamed Adeline for the death and considered her to be bad luck. Her father then re-married and had 2 more children with his new wife, Niang. Niang treated her own children well and they got whatever they wanted but for Adeline and the rest of her siblings they could only eat at certain times and only had a few clothes and got last pick in everything. The only members of her family who she feels close to is her Grandfather, Ye-Ye and her Aunt Baba. Ye-Ye later dies and Adeline isn?t told about the death until she was on the way to his funeral...

How Super is Mah Jong

1800 mAh Batts

Advantages: Rechargeable Superberb Battery Life
Disadvantages: Can take a long time to charge with a standard charger

...These batterys are fantastic for appliances that use up battery life quickly. For me personally these batterys have even made my cd player last longer even though it recommends Alkaline Batts which last 20hrs but with these batts it has lasted for over 40hrs. The one problem is to be truely happy with these batts you have to spend around 30 pounds on a fast charge which should take around 1hr to charge or you can stick to the standard chargers which take 16hrs to charge. At the end of the 16hr hour charge it is well worth the lond wait. These Batterys are AA only! to find batterys with as good a performance look on the battery for the highest mAh eg 1200mAh Last but not least i recommend to everyone not to buy AA's or AAA's under the 1200mAh range. Advantages: Simple to learn and great fun to play

...A colleague at work introduced me to Mah-jongg many years ago and I've been hooked ever since. I confess that I have never actually played it as a board game but would assume that the rules and principles are exactly the same as on the PC - just horizontal instead of vertical! The basic game is an oriental variation on the old childhood game of picking pairs but with a three dimensional layout in the shape of a pyramid and the symbols are printed on tiles as opposed to playing cards. ...Hi today I will be reviewing Energizer AA 2500 mAh Rechargeable Batteries. Price You can buy these from Amazon for cheapest £7.05 I got them for £10 from B&Q and I got a charger as well. Life I recommend fully charging these for first time use. I put them on for a day. From the full charge I managed to get a week use out of them. I use them in my Xbox 360 Controllers which are used by me and my brothers so they were on for most of the week. Charge While using the official charger for this product it takes around 6 hours to charge fully (Overnight). Size I find that these batteries are a little larger than the usual AA batteries because in my Xbox controller when I first got them in they took quite a lot of force to get them out again.
