Another thorny, full of twists and turns film, including drama, romance and a surprising touch of comedy . . . is Love For Rent, which was showing on one of my (usual) favourite movie channels. Come And 'Ave A Shag!

Advantages: Fun, entertaining, good musical numbers, Marilyn Monroe

You can make your mind up but I loved this book!

Advantages: An enjoyable light read
Disadvantages: none!

...and not too complicated. This story moves along at a good pace with the main plot being interwoven with lots of little sub plots along the way. I will just give a brief outline of the story. The central character is Lottie who is a single mother with two young children. Lottie has not really had a love life to speak of for years, until she meets Tyler Klein her new boss. Tyler is everything she could wish for and more buth there is just one small problem (well two small problems)...Lottie's children. Nat and Ruby take an instant dislike to their Mum's new boyfriend, and put so many obstacles in their way that it makes it impossible for her to carry on seeing him. On to the scene comes Seb. ...for the viewer. Although this film was extremely popular and 'bigged up' at it's time of release I hadn't actually seen it and didn't really know that much about it, (I was twelve at the time). The first time I saw it was on the last day of term before the school Christmas holidays about three years ago, and thought it was a great way to say goodbye to the rest of my classmates before Christmas. It was a film that definitely made us feel good when walking through the school gates after watching it. I love the magical feeling when watching this film. It's such a great Christmas film and I don't think it would have worked so well if the storyline hadn't revolved around Christmas. I don?t realty tend to watch a lot of romance drama films and generally like action and comedies but both me and my mum thought it looked pretty good. I had seen an advert on the TV a while back about it and it was intriguing. It didn?t give away anything and was just random images. Advantages: deceptively deeper than initial quickly read impressions allowed for, well written, nicely present

...Since I got Freeview I love watching the shopping channels (I don't know how sad that makes me!), and that's what first made me decide to get into card making. I was watching Ideal World one day when they had a craft hour on, and they were making the most beautiful cards. The only thing that put me off starting straight away was the price of some of the equipment needed - handmade papers, embossing kits etc. can be fairly expensive. It was a good six months later before I actually got around to making my first cards. I bought a card making kit from Ebay for about £4.50 including the postage, which included cards, envelopes, handmade paper, stickers and die-cuts among other things. Review of Member Advice on Card Making

All's fair in love and basketball

Advantages: Brilliant emotion, acting, action, drama
Disadvantages: Nothing, for me

...and some feel good moments. No, this is much more than that. It goes deep into your heart and really plucks at the strings. It makes you laugh out loud. It gives you some brilliant court action with some high flying basketball scenes. And it does so in a way that really makes you feel like you know the characters. The film focuses on these two all the way through, following them as they tussle with their own on/off relationship, their love for the game and their love for each other developing as the film takes us through different stages in their lives. We are constantly kept guessing as to their own relationship, and whether it will blossom or whether it is platonic and they are best friends, or whether they are destined for each other.
