...Touche Eclat really is a must-have.. it's like the little-black-dress for your make-up bag. This is not so much a concealer, but more a highlighter. It is probably one of the most useful products in my make-up bag. If used in the right places it can really enchance your features. I use it just below my eyebrows on the brow bone, in the shadowy nook below my mouth/above my chin, under my eyes (it's a miracle at fighting dark circles!) and down both sides of my nose, to create an illusion of a slimmer nose. This product helps me get the flawless glowing look, wihilst staying natural looking. I say it is more like a highlighter than a concealer, because it's ingrediants help to relfect light, so if you were to use it on blemishes or spots you would end up highlighting them and making them even more obvious!...

...seems to accomodate all shades of white skin. I presume there must be an equivalent for darker skins, or I hope there is beacuse no woman should be without a great element of make up. Although the packaging looks wonderful with its gold exterior, I would rather have some sort of idea of how much product is left in the pen, so that you do not get caught out without it. On average at £21, it does seem like a lot of money and in my situation it is. But I think I am running out of my first one and so will scrape together all my pennies to get a new one....just don't tell my husband how much it costs! I couldn't do without it!!!...

...I bought this product a few weeks ago,on a recommendation from a friend. I am not a big make up wearer but having noticed the dark circles round my eyes I thought I would splash out and give it a try. It is brilliant. I have finally found a way of covering my bags without large amounts of makeup. It is very subtle and can be used to cover other small blemishes on the face. The best thing is, is that it is small and can be taken everywhere. Truly a girls best friend and a must have for a brighter look and happier eyes. yves saint laurent have certainly worked their magic with this little wand. I can truly say that I am 100% hooked...

A great addition to your makeup bag!

Advantages: Removes even waterproof makeup with ease

...I don't wear eye makeup very often but on the occasions that I do I need something to remove the eyeliner, waterproof mascara and eye shadow. On a recent visit to Boots I received one of there £5 off No.7 product vouchers and spotted this at £6.90 for a 100ml bottle (therefore costing me only £1.90 - Bargain!) The bottle itself is semi-transparent with turqoise/blue coloured liquid inside it. This is useful as it indicates how much of the cleanser is left and when I should be thinking about getting a new bottle. To get the liquid out there is a pump at the top of the bottle which is covered by a lid when it is not in use. The bottle is recyclable and the contents should be used within 6 months of opening. According to the bottle the product is hypo-allergenic (so less likely to cause an allergic reaction) and suitable for all...

A must for your summer/holiday makeup bag

Advantages: Use with your normal makeup or moisturiser, add to suit your colour

...quite matt throughout the day. It lasts long enough to make it through the day without having to reapply. My Thoughts I think this is a must have for any woman's summer makeup bag. When it comes to this time of year and you've been on holiday or out in the sun, you can end up with that horrible brown body and white face look if you continue using your normal makeup. Normally I would buy a tinted moisturiser but then end up struggling on a night out as I wanted something more. With this product, you can add it to your normal makeup and therefore you don't need to buy two separate products for a day and night look. On hot holidays, I don't normally wear any makeup in the day as it's much too hot but at night I like to wear a tinted moisturiser. With this product, you can add as much as you need for the colour you want...

Almost Foundation ... Certainly Make Up

Advantages: Blends well, isn't heavy, protects against sun related skin damage
Disadvantages: Can get water-y (separates), expensive, middling coverage

...It wouldn't be unfair to say that I'm a bit of a guy in disguise - I live in jeans, read (and watch) science fiction, have never understood the cult of celebrity, don't watch reality TV, and, more to the point, rarely wear make up. Oh, I occasionally use cover up (as I'm a terrible picker, and can never leave a spot alone), but don't often go the full foundation-to-mascara route. However, I have recently been attending job interviews, and so have piled the slap on (ok, that's a slight exaggeration) in my quest to impress. Therefore, the first thing I apply is foundation. Because I'm not much of a make-up wearer, I don't want a heavy foundation - I don't want to look like a clown in the circus. Last time I went to buy make-up, I therefore went to the Clinque counter and asked for advice (I only ever buy make up when there are freebies...

...This review is of Skin Therapy Eye Make-Up Remover. Skin Therapy is a skin care range, including facial wipes, moisturisers, cleansers, facial washes and so on. It is exclusive to Wilkinsons, so none of the prodcuts are likely to break the bank. I'm not a huge make-up person, I'm too pale for foundation, too lazy for tinted moisturiser, lip colour gives me too much of a Lesley Ash pout (not a good look, I can assure you), and blusher tends to make me look like I've been slapped! I do, however, love my eye make-up, not every day, but when I feel tired or run down, or if I'm going out, I 'do' my eyes. And when I do them, I really do them, with eye shadow, heavy eye-liner a la smokey eyed look, and lashings of mascara. Of course, all of this eye make-up has to then come off. I've tried so many different eye make-up removers in my time...

Make me Up!

Advantages: Gentle on eyes, easy to use and removes all make-up.
Disadvantages: Too many unnatural ingredients.

...The Simple Range is diverse and one of the most popular brands on the market. With it's 'simplistic' style and content together with a kind nature and honest touch. I use Simple products in my daily skincare routine, as I do not like using over-fussy products on my skin. I have normal skin which is prone to spots in certain areas, I find that the Simple product range calms my skin, and in particular the Eye make-up Remover is gentle on the eyes and removes what I want it to. Price: For a 125ml bottle I bought this one at my local Boots store for £2.89. You can sometimes get an item from this range free, when Boots are having a 2 for the price of 3 offer. I also get Boots points on this one which is good. This bottle will last me for a good 3 months or so and I only tend to use a small amount on a cotton wool pad for each eye...

Review of Simple Conditioning Eye Make-up Remover

A staple for every girls make up bag!

Advantages: Great for tired skin and also can be used as an intensive moisture face pack
Disadvantages: if you rub the cream instead of allowing to absorb into your skin it will flake

...Clarins Beauty Flash Balm has now become one of my make up ritual musts. It did exaclty what it promised and gave my skin an instant lift. I tried it around the eye area without any problems regarding sensitivity and also took the manufacturers advise of using it as an intense overnight face rehydrating mask, here I feel it needs to be used on a more consistant basis to see any visible results! It has a great natural plant smell and absorbs fairly quickly into the skin. The only downside being that if you apply your make up too soon afterwards it flakes, so do allow to absorb fully! My two older daughters also use Beauty Flash Balm as they find it a great skin boost after late nights! They also buy there own now after having had more than one dressing down for taking mine! Finally it is great to see a skincare product...
