...on the skin. I use a trusty make up sponge to make sure its blended properly. I love the full coverage it gives, perfect when I am called out to the hospital in the middle of the night. I just stick a layer of this on and you can't tell I have had no sleep! I buy alot of my make up from Debenhams, which you have proabaly noticed from my other reviews. This product costs me around £17.50 which i think is great compared to other such as estee lauder which can cost up to £21 for the same size foundation. Overall this foundation gives good blendable coverage which stays on and lasts....

Almost Foundation ... Certainly Make Up

Advantages: Blends well, isn't heavy, protects against sun related skin damage
Disadvantages: Can get water-y (separates), expensive, middling coverage

...It wouldn't be unfair to say that I'm a bit of a guy in disguise - I live in jeans, read (and watch) science fiction, have never understood the cult of celebrity, don't watch reality TV, and, more to the point, rarely wear make up. Oh, I occasionally use cover up (as I'm a terrible picker, and can never leave a spot alone), but don't often go the full foundation-to-mascara route. ...For years and years I suffered from oily skin easpecially on my fore head and nose - I had tryed a wide range of make up product which claimed to stay on and provide cover for many hours but none of them worked particularly well at all. My mum has the same problem and was recommended to try Revlon Colourstay which claims to last 16 hours - I have to admit that I was a bit sceptical but after trying it I was delighted. The foundation itself is very very thick so it's probably not recommended for those wanting a light feeling foundation. On the plus side you only need a small amount for good coverage. One downside to using it is that there is no pump to get the product out of the bottle and with it being so thick it can take a bit of time. No 1 for coverage and it stays on!...

...is clear, then white underneath, then dark blue. Written in the dark blue is the colour - 70 natural. In the white is written in dark blue - colour adapting make-up, and in the clear at the top it says - Max Factor - colour adapt. The dispensing part of the tube is a large white push down nozzle which dispenses a tiny amount of foundation onto your finger, or whatever you are using to apply the foundation with. This way there is no waste. Covering the nozzle is a clear white plastic lid. Smell: Unlike the Age Renew which had a sweet smell to it, this Colour Adapt foundation had no smell at all. None that I could detect anyway. Who makes it? Proctor & Gamble, Weybridge, Surrey. Application: I squirted a couple of drops onto my finger and applied to cheeks, forehead and chin. Advantages: Evens skin tone, looks quite natural, a little goes a long way
Disadvantages: Caused me to break out, encouraged oilyness, didn't stay on amazingly long

...Ah, the delights of teenage skin. Never know what it's going to do next. One day it's dry, flakey and tight feeling, the next you wish you had a spatula to scrape all the oil off. Not to mention oh so stubborn blemishes. I personally have all these things going on, combination skin basically, and I've always had trouble keeping spots at bay. Don't even get me started on clogged pores or blackheads! Don't I paint quite the picture? As I had previously found it hard to find a foundation that matched and complemented my skin tone (I'm fairly pale in skin colour), this appealled to me as I'm always keen to avoid that over made up look.
