...Mall cop is a fantastic comedy directed by Steve Carr and feaures the very funny Kevin James (who also played in I now pronounce you chuck ad larry) as well as Jayma Mays, Keir O'Donnell, Bobby Cannavale, Stephen Rannazzisi, Shirley Knight, Peter Gerety Kevin James really brings his charactor to life and is really funny in Mall Cop. Its a really goodfilm for all the family to watch, I watched it with my partner and 2 children aged 14 and 11 and we were all giggling away through most of the film. Paul Blart: Mall Cop (DVD) - Something the family will enjoy

Advantages: Easy to watch & enjoyable
Disadvantages: Lighthearted subtle comedy may not suit everyones needs

...This movie is a lighthearted comedy that i thoroughly enjoyed. The film's main character is Kevin James who I had never heard of until I stumbled across a classic American tv show called 'King of Queens'. Following this I have watched 'Hitch' and 'I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry' both which stars the talented Kevin James. The film is centered around a down to earth, single dad who is devoted to his family and thoroughly enjoys his job as a mall cop (James). His one dream is to be a cop but unfortunately he has failed on several occasions due to his chubby exterior. "Paul Blart - Mall Cop" - A review of the Security guard comedy

Advantages: Has some 'lol' parts and good for small children, good performences too
Disadvantages: Bad special effects and bad music

...Mall Cop is about a Security guard called Paul Blart who works at his local Mall and finds it hard to find love. One day a gang of thieves take over the Mall and he's quickly put into a tense situation where he needs to save the Mall he loves and cares about. Along the way he falls for newly Mall addition, Amy. Mall Cop is a great family film for all ages. It has some 'laugh out loud' parts and doesn't include any strong violence or anything like that. Don't Mess With the Blart!

Advantages: very funny, great story and acting
Disadvantages: Some may find it daft

...of the scenes in which it was used. The DVD which we have doe shave some bonus features which include:- Deleted Scenes Action Sport Junkies Stunts On Set with mike ?Rooftop? Escamilla Fun on Set Mike V vs. mall Cop Mall Cop Response Free Running vs. Parkour Thoughts with Kevin James Sugar I have not watched any of the bonus features so I am unable to make comment on them. The running time of this film is 1 hour and 27 minutes and I found this to be a great length as if it was any longer I think that the story would have started to drag and may have even verged on getting boring. The certificate is a PG, there is some comic violence and mild language but nothing which I thought would be offensive to children and I would have no problems in letting my children watch this film, that is if they were not on holiday this week...

...Under Cover Last weekend we had a night in and me and my mum decided to get a DVD to watch with some popcorn. I generally like comedy films so we decided with the film Mall Cop which looked pretty funny. The cover was quite eye catching with the face of Paul Blart. The main character looked familiar but I was not sure who it was. The interesting thing about this film is that it is released by Happy Madison?s Pictures owned by top comedian Adam Sandler.
