Available Car Supermarket

Advantages: Wide choice, low pressure environment, competitive prices
Disadvantages: There's not enough of them about!

..., everything was presented in a "keep safe" envelope very well explained. When we arrived for pick-up, early, they were still ready to greet us and dealt with us very promptly. Again, the explainations were clear and concise, nothing was rushed unless we were happy. We were allowed to inspect the car inside and out before we signed the final handover, and the car came with 30days or 10000 miles warrenty in the event it developed any problems - they would fix them. Free tax disc holder, cleaned inside and out.... everything working.... phone numbers provided in the event of any problems..... All in all, I can't fault them. Nothing pushy, nothing pressured, a very welcoming and relaxed place to browse or buy, just like a supermarket. I have already suggested a neighbour pay them a visit - as the stock is changing all the time and you never...

The car supermarket

Advantages: wide range for selection
Disadvantages: sometimes long waiting times

...I bought my "new" used car about a month ago and am very happy with it. And as well with the service of available cars in castle donington. Apart from a bit of bad luck when I tried to pick up my car. But more on that later. I'll first give you some info about this "car supermarket". Choice and availability Available car is a quite big "shop" to buy new and (mainly) used cars. They have more than 700 cars on site on the East Midlands, 10 acre car supermarket display, preparation, and distribution centre, located 1 mile from M1, Castle Donington and they get new stock nearly daily. That gives you a really big choice. Service They claim themselvewe not to employ pushy 'Car Salespeople' but 'helpers' from other areas of the retail world. Ánd I have to admit, that I never felt under pressure. I went there several times, as I...

Available Car Supermarket....Simply Fantastic

Advantages: Superb Range of Vehicles, Genuine Price Promise, No Hassle Staff
Disadvantages: I really can't think of any !!

...After reading a fair few positive reviews of Available Car Supermarket, I decided to travel from Blackpool to view a Nissan Almera Tino that I'd seen advertised. When entering the reception, I was immediately greeted and asked if I'd visited before as they gave me a full list of the vehicles available. I told them I was looking for a specific car, they found the car I was interested in and pointed me in the direction as to where the vehicle would be parked. I was told the car would be unlocked and could view the car inside and out at my leisure, should I need any assistance I was to only ask. The car was easily found and was very clean inside & out, I decided to return to reception and request a test drive. A member of staff was immediately available to bring the car to reception, before I could test drive the car I had to give...

Available car - they had one available for us!

Advantages: Loads of cars, no hard selling
Disadvantages: You might get passed from person to person in the show room

...Hubby decided it was time for a new car, and seeing as we don?t have any spare cash at the moment it was definitely going to be second hand and preferably as cheap as possible at a standard that we liked. Having heard all the adverts for available car.com we thought we would go and have a look around one of their forecourts just to get an idea of what we could get for what money. Availablecar.com are also available on line although not all cars in their show room are on line so it?s worth a visit to see what new vehicles have come in. They deal with cars ranging from £3000 to £15,000 so if you are looking for cheaper or have more money to spend you might be better off looking somewhere else! Just to make it clear available car only sell second hand cars, so don?t go expecting to get anything brand new, although they have a great...

Not a good place to buy a car!

Advantages: Price of the car was cheap.
Disadvantages: It took 3 attempts to get car driving properly. Horrible customer service.

...I have just bought a car from CarGiant and found it an extremely stressful and unpleasant experience. Buying a car from Car Giant is not something I would recommend that anyone does. At one stage the ?customer service? people were being so unreasonable when I made a request of them that I vowed that I would share how bad my experience had been with the widest possible audience unless they at least considered my request for some sort of refund for their poor service. They just didn?t care! I?m now making good on that promise as I felt very badly treated and I want to make sure that anyone who buys from Car Giant does so with their eyes wide open. I?m posting this review in as many places as possible in the hope that everyone who needs to see it will see it and avoid the error that I made. I had read a few poor reviews of Car...

SUPER supermarket

Advantages: Easy to use; price comparison; calorie and money saving; nutritional info etc...
Disadvantages: Not really any

...I am actually hooked on this website. I log onto it just about everyday, not for shopping, but for product references. Mysupermarket.com is like an online catalogue of every single (or nearly everything. Sometimes, things aren't always there which are on the supermarkets shelves but this is quite rare) item on the shelves of *Tesco *Asda *Sainsbury *Ocado (i.e. Waitrose) - basically, all the BIG supermarkets. I would like to have a Morrison's in here and perhaps a sub section dedicated to the smaller ones like Aldi, Iceland, farm foods and Lidl. On the other hand, I can see why it doesn't. Firstly, not all of them deliever. Secondly, not all stock the main branded products detailed as Lidl tends to stock german based products and thirdly, it would probably become over complicated. The layout has recently changed. It is...

Car buying made Easy

Advantages: Web site with lots of photos, Lot of cars, low prices helpful staff
Disadvantages: Waiting -

...I went to car giant with my brother in law as he recomended them to me. Personaly i found the whole process really easy. I found my car on thier web site, it had loads of pictures of the car inside and out. I went there, my brother inlaw gave it a once over, we test drove it said yes, they then prepared it ( this did take a few hours) I paid for it and drove off. It took the best part of the afternoon/evening but they had a nice restaurant where we had somthing to eat and I went on thier free Internet for a hour or so. I got a 1 year old nissan micra which has 2 years warranty on it in a lovley silver colour. The staff were very helpfull, answering all of my questions nothing was too much for them....

At last !!! A Hassel free way of buying a car Excellent !!!

Advantages: loads of cars, great choice, friendly helpful staff no pressure, fantastic prices.
Disadvantages: can get very busy on the weekend, we had to wait to be served, best to get there early.

...I have just bought a 6 month old car from Jefferies Farm - UnbeatableCar from their Crawley Car Supermarket I had been and browsed there before and had often been tempted because its like an Aladdin?s cave, everywhere you turn there?s another nice car. We were looking for a particular type of car, so we decided to look at their website UnbeatableCar.com to see if they had any in stock. We found the site very simple to use, but also clear and informative, we managed to narrow down our choice before driving to the site. When we went to look at the car, the salesmen didn't come and 'hound' you (as they seem to do everywhere else), they left you to look around, and when you did want to look at a particular car, they would give you all the details service history ect, and then offered to let us test drive the car, in fact, you can test...

It's A Shame I Only Needed One Car

Advantages: Lots of choice, plenty of info and great service
Disadvantages: only three locations

...and even spoke to them via some live chat thing so was fairly confident - if a little hesitant - that it was worth the trip. Seriously, I've never seen so many used cars in one place. The car I'd originally had my eyes on had gone but the salesman was really helpful - I didn't feel like he was pushy or trying to sell a particular car - and I soon found another car that was pretty much identical. I got a test drive, set up the payment (some good cold cash always helps) and the job was a good 'un. Having seeming fretted over nothing when it comes to the whole buying from a car 'supermarket' I felt extremely relieved and while I know it's a strange thing to do I'm quite happy to recommend the experience. It was really so painless and simple. In hindsight it seems daft to have been worried about using a car supermarket - it's not as if they...

Really really cheap cars!

Advantages: Really cheap prices, good condition of cars, helpful non pushy staff
Disadvantages: No tax available on any car, no added discount

...I have been looking for an Audi A3 Sportback for a good few months but the prices and condition of the cars i have seen have been poor. I recently stumbled across Switchcar on Autotrader, they stood out as the 05/55 plate they had advertised was priced around the 04/54 plates for sale. The advert told me all i wanted to know and even highlighted a very slight scuff to one of the alloys with a description and close up picture. After successfully booking an appointment for the next day, i was greeted by a member of staff who gave me a brief description of the car and left me with the keys to have a proper look. After a quick testdrive and a review of the full Audi main dealer history it had (something i was really pleased about) i had purchased and was on my way home in my new car 30mins later - with 7 days free insurance and free...
