...WWE Night Of Champions2008 (June 29, 2008) was the second annual Night of Champions PPV hosted by the three brand shows of the WWE; RAW, Smackdown, and ECW. Live from Dallas, Texas in the American Airlines Center, the Pay-per-view held an attendance of 16, 151 people to see each WWE Title on the line in this well worked PPV. The Music Theme Song of the evening was "Devour" by Shinedown.
Each fued was settled in a title bout on this historic night. The previous week the WWE Draft took place, sending many wrestlers to other branded shows, giving some people their last chance to get their hands on the gold they were after. The main fueds heading into the Night Of Champions2008 consisted of Triple H (Smackdown) and John Cena (RAW), and Batista (RAW) with Edge (Smackdown). So...what belts would end up on RAW or Smackdown, 1 each or both...

Advantages: Still some superb individuals. The new players are quality. Disadvantages: A weak defence and a new tactic that they are struggling to come to terms with.
...For much of Alex Ferguson's time in charge of ManchesterUnited his 'holy grail' was seen to be the ChampionsLeague. Winning it in 1999 matched Matt Busby's feat 31 years before. But since then United have stuttered in Europe, going out in the quarter finals twice, both times to the eventual winners. In comparison they have cruised to the league title in both seasons. I sense that Ferguson's legacy in Europe will be of what could have been rather than a sense of pride in his achievements. In a sense he has created a rod for his own back by building the greatest domestic side the game has ever seen. Why does this not translate to Europe? This season is Ferguson's last to prove his doubters wrong.

...away goals come in to play. If a team has more away goals then the other team, then they will go through. Only if the scores are exactly the same from the home and away leg will a tie go to extra time . For example if it is 0-0 in 1st leg and 0-0 in 2nd leg or 1-1 and 1-1 etc.
My personal experience of watching the Championsleague is that it is a great competition. It has all of the top teams from Europe in it with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea , ManchesterUnited,Liverpool , Inter and Ac Milan, Bayern Munich amongst other top names. It provides football of the highest quality with the top names. I have had a very low point though with the final last year, being a Chelsea fan it was a heartbreaking to lose like we did but it was the first time the team had made it to the final so the achievement of getting there was big...

On a rainy Wednesady night Elland Road (the home of Leeds United) invited AC Milan. Leeds left it late but in the 89th minute Lee Bowyer struck the ball 30 yards out and it slipped into the bottom corner of the net!! Leeds United 1-0 AC Milan
Leeds were hoping to repeat their herorics of AC Milan against Beskitas at Elland Road. The match started off brightly with a goal after 5 minutes. Then the goals just flowed with them coming from all directions from Viduka, Bakke, Matteo and Wilcox. The match ended up 6-0 to Leeds united and proved yet another memorable night in the ChampionsLeague.
The next two matches were both draws with a 0-0 draw with Beskitas in Turkey and back at Elland Road a 1-1 draw with Barcelona. Leeds were seconds away from qualifying to the next group with a game spare but seconds from the end - after Lee Bowyers strike...

Advantages: Best players, lots of home grown talent Disadvantages: Predictably winning
...After putting 6 past Bradford with half of their team missin, things look ominous for the rest of the Premier League. ManchesterUnited now have a goalkeeper capable of kicking the ball (though I always thought Van Der Gouw was better than Bosnich) in Fabien Barthez. The defence is still a little dodgy, but Jaap Stam can cope, and Wes Brown will return from injury soon. Man Utd have the best midfield in the country with Giggs , Scholes, Keane and Beckham, all of which are from the British Isles. Which proves you don't always need foreign talent! Up front they have 4 quality strikers available. Andrew Cole will get better if given a decent run in the England team he will score goals!
Champions again I think!...
