...When Marc Jacobs launched his new fragrance, Daisy, the website was giving away small spray bottles on their website. I guess the people at Marc Jacobs must have liked me, one arrived through the post, then the next day several more turned up on my doormat the next day. Lovely daisies!

Advantages: Lovely smell, lovely bottle, long staying power
Disadvantages: Slightly expensive, not a very original perfume

...Marc Jacobs' fragrance Daisy is a very feminine and light perfume. It's quite youthful but sophisticated, however not so that it is serious as it's a rather fun fragrance. Marc Jacobs is a designer that appeals to a slightly older audience, however it seems with this scent, he is trying to engage with a younger audience from teen to late 20's. It's bottle design is beautiful, with the initial bottle been rather plain but by then having this lovely, flowery bottle top. It's a perfume that is easy to wear weather you're going to college, work or a night out. When it's first sprayed there's the distinct smell of strawberries and grapefruit, then it goes on to having a violet smell, as it settles it has notes of jasmine along with the violet. The base smell is musk, vanilla and white woods, the different scents blend beautifully together...

Advantages: Fresh Daytime Scent, Not Commonly Worn, Draws Comments!

I hate people who seem to bathe in perfume and end up smelling like a whores handbag (If you'll excuse my french, or for Denella, Un sac à main de putains)... As such, my current two scents, Envy by Gucci and Boss In Motion - Black, are light and subtle and have served me very very well over the past year and 18 months respectively. I found Marc Jacobs pour Homme whilst trawling around Debenhams whilst The Blonde was trying every single shade of foundation, eye shadow and lip gloss in the entire store. ...I wear Marc Jacobs pour Homme as an aftershave having found it during the Summer. Imagine my absolute delight when I opened my stocking on Christmas morning to find the accompanying shower gel from The Blonde! I don't usually go for the additional products in sets like this because they inevitably disappoint me. They either don't smell as good, or feel like an afterthought for all of those Christmas sets that they want everyone to buy and aren't nearly of the same quality as the aftershave itself. I was pleasantly surprised by this shower gel though. Don't read too much into that, it's good, but isn't the best thing since sliced bread! Jacobs Cream Crackers were originally created in 1885 and are currently owned/produced by United Biscuits. They are the fastest selling cracker in the UK and Jacobs is the number 1 name in crackers.
