...I thought I'd write a Weston-Super-Mare review since my husband and I took our little ones there today for a spot of sandcastle building. As we only live 15 minutes away, down the M5, it's a place I have frequented throughout my life. My Grandparents live in Worle which is just off the motorway on the way in to Weston, and always took us to the seafront in the Summer, so this is the place I shall start. THE SEA FRONT Weston-Super-Mare is in North Somerset (previously Avon). Weston-sur-la-mer (on-the-sea) became Weston-Super-Mare for obvious reasons... our tangled evolution of language! I suppose it is sort of on-the-sea, but is really on the Severn Estuary. This means that there is a lot of mud washing up and down! We often, jokingly call it Weston-Super-Mud! Heaven and Hell in one package

Advantages: clean, next to a pub, ensuite, tea and hot chocolate, big room, heater
Disadvantages: noisy carpark, no tv remote, easy book didnt work on website

...We were looking for a hotel or guesthouse in weston-super-mare but for the same price as a small guesthouse with shared bathrooms you can go to the travel inn and have ensuite for just £42.95 per room... it doesnt matter what room you have , single, double, family - the price remains the same. Booking the inn did have its problems. I wanted to use the 'easy book' system they have on their website but it wasnt working properly (page cannot be displayed, some sort of server error). I am not keen on using the phone so I kept trying the easy book at regular intervals throughtout the day. After a day and a half I gave up and phoned them directly. The gentleman was very polite on the phone, the only problem was that you dont get a confirmation of booking like an email. This particular inn was by a leisure centre on the main road into...

Xbox 360, the whole package

Advantages: Easy to use, easy to get online, high quality graphics, wide spread of games
Disadvantages: High cost extras which should potentially be included

...of the wireless remotes, the controllers drain the life out of batteries and replacing them frequently is not a cheap task and so purchasing a rechargeable battery pack is advisable for each controller but retailing at around £30 each this is possibly the lesser of 2 evils. Despite these 2 gripes the Xbox 360 is a thoroughly enjoyable console to own and play on and the new layout makes the system easy to use for young, inexperienced gamers right up to hardened console enthusiasts, i highly reccomend purchasing the Xbox 360 but be prepared to spend slightly more after your initial purchase to really have the ultimate console package....

Advantages: Easy to use and user frindly

I started back in the halcyon days of my Amiga before I left school, and then got back into it for a while at University. Then was a bit of hiatus. About 5 or 6 years ago, I bough a PC magazine which had a free copy of Cinema 4D 6 on it, and since then I have been hooked & upgrading ever since. There are a few packages available on the market at the moment, but I have to say that C4D is by far my favourite. It has all to tools you would expect from a professional 3d package (although the names differ from one to another), and can match almost everything any other package can do, but the basics are so much easier to learn. ...The Residence is the apartment section of the Porto Mare hotel, the apartments are available as timeshares, but also available to book as you would any hotel room which is what we have done on 4 occasions now. We booked the one bedroom apartment, for which you get a large living room with TV (with surround sound kit), DVD, sofabed and dining area including table and chairs. The bedroom has an enormous bed, which is actually 2 doubles pushed together and is very comfortable indeed. There is a seperate kitchen which is well equipped with microwave, dishwasher, hob, lots of pots and pans etc. The bathroom is separated into two rooms, one side has a bath and sink, the other a sink, WC and walk in shower, all of which are spotlessly clean.
