...Well, what can I say? When I heard that Super Mario Galaxy was the next Mario adventure I thought I wouldn't take off but how wrong was I? This game has took Mario to the Centre of the Universe to save his beloved Princess Peach and on islands with Giant screaming Baby plants and to see his evil nemesis again, Bowser. This game has redefined the gaming world with its game controls and its fantastic game play among the set of numerous breath taking graphics. I know Nintendo has dropped some of its graphics to concentrate on the game play in previous Wii games but I always knew that, if they wanted to, they could produce the graphics of such rival consoles, Play station 3 or the Xbox 360. Advantages: Exciting, Funny, New Objectives

...Well, lets face it, if mario was a dentist, instead of playing the games involving him, we would probably be laughing at them. Just imagine advancing to the next level in one of the mario games and seeing his smiling face glimmer with pearl white teeth. Now that would be something to enjoy. I've loved playing mario for a few years now, and think that it has all the classic elements for one of the best games ever made. Even though the fact that seeing mario with a dentist drill and a needle would be funny, i don't think it should be immediately discriminated against! I mean i for one would definately be for a new mario game based on a dentist theme. Mario could jump over teeth, fall to his death on needles and have to run from a wave of toothpaste. Instead of throwing fireballs he could throw mini toothbrushes and instead of jumping... Read review

Advantages: NICE GRAPHICS WITH GOOD GAME PLAY
Disadvantages: SUCKS AT TIMES

...I enjoyed playing Mario right from the Nintendo 64 game console and as things may be, the Nintendo game cube Mario does not excite me like the previous Nintendo 64 Mario version. Well a lot of people have been moving comments along the air that the game sucks; yes the game some times sucks but not as some say. The Mario party game does not have that clear destination on where you are heading or your mission status unlike in the Nintendo 64 Mario that really makes it clear to you on where you are heading to not only that even the Mario sunshine makes it clear. Well as a Mario fan and lover, I will still get on with it because there are a lot of excitements in the game no matter what happens. ...Out of the skies of Sarasaland suddenly there emerged Tatanga. This unknown space monster came to conquer this peaceful world, taking their people under his control and now, he wants to marry Princess Daisy. Yes, Mario has to save another Princess (but also Sarasaland) in what is the first Super Mario game for the Game Boy. To do so Mario must journey through the 4 kingdoms of Sarasaland. A platform game similar to Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Land never did recreate the same level of control as in the NES game. Here he feels a tad sensitive; precision can be a problem as the sprites in the game are small - though this does gives the player (more than) a fair view of the obstacles which lie immediately ahead. ...Finally, the game all wii owners have been waiting for, and it doesn't dissapoint, Super Mario Galaxy is possibly one of the greatest video games of all. You can't not love it, whether your a hardcore gamer or a child. The story starts in a fairly familiar way Bowser kidnapps Princess Peach and Mario sets out to save her. However from then on Mario needs to travel into different galaxies to collect power stars, which allow Rosalina to see further on into the universe. This continues until Mario has ollected enough power stars so Rosalina can see Bowser in the centre of the universe. When you travel to a galaxy they are a joy to explore you jump from tint planets to other tiny planets where the gravitational forces pull you in. ...Mario golf is the best game ever on the game boy color!! Even if you've never played golf before, there are 4 different courses for you to try your luck on. The 4 tournaments will keep you playing for a long time, and the extra mini games are really fun. There is even a two player mode if you link up your game boy with a mate. This is the best and most addictive mode in Mario Golf. Even if you absolutely hate golf, you have to play this game and it will surely change your mind about golf forever.... Read review

...Mario is ice cream. Sometimes people like cake (Halo), and some people prefer cheese and crackers (Gran Turismo), but everybody always loves ice cream. The question is though, as infamously asked by Craig David - what's your flava? I'm more than willing to admit that Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World are fantastic games and I love them to bits, and technically they're so much better than Super Mario Land, but this Game Boy classic is incredible. I loved it when it was all I played on the Game Boy, I loved it when I bought a second copy ten years later and played it on my Game Boy Advance. Why do I love it so? Let me count the ways. Super Ball weapons that bounce off the environment, requiring an extra twist of strategy from the player. Koopa shells that don't bounce, but explode. Bouncing Easter Island heads as enemies. My... ...Just about every company which has been on the go for years, we are talking about Thirty years, Twenty years or even older, have released their old games on to new consoles, hoping to gain both money and respect. They might get money from older gamers, who just adore horrible emulations of arcade classics like Marble Madness, Paperboy or Pac-Man (Who has been on just about every console to date), but they don't get respect. Nintendo has to be the one of the only companies to do a collection of classics which aren't that old, I aren't talking about Donkey Kong, I am talking about Super Mario Brothers which came out for the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System), that's right, all three of them, plus Lost Levels and the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) Super Mario World, This has to be the BEST collection ever! ...Well what can I say about Paper Mario apart from its my favourite game ever. It’s the most addictive thing I’ve ever played. I got my game cube a couple of years ago, and have got a few games but nothing that I could really get into, until I got Paper Mario that is. It’s a Fantastic game. The game starts off in Rogueport, with Princess Peace, where she finds a treasure map. She sends the treasure map along with a Letter to Mario. Mario arrives in Rogueport to find that Princess Peach has been kidnapped. Mario’s task is to use the treasure map to find Crystal Stars, which lead to the “Treasure” behind the Thousand Year Door under Rogueport, and to rescue Princess Peach. The game is split into lots of different chapters in each one you need to find a different Crystal Star. Along the way Mario makes friends who help him along his journey... Read review

...Diddy Kong Racing is the first real competitor to Mario Cart Racing but Diddy Kong has the added feature of giving you the opportunity to race with carts, planes and hovercrafts. The graphics are generally good but the playability is probably not as good as Mario cart. There are more tracks to choose from than on Mario cart, but again looses out because many are very simple and boring and are only available to the difficult to control hovercraft and plane. However Diddy Kong succeeds where Mario Cart fails when it comes to the single player game. It is much more structured and there is a story to follow as well as a Boss to defeat at the end of each level.... Read review
