...Many hardcore Mario fans may have been worried by the addition of motorcycles and tricks to Mario Kart but they have done nothing but make this edition one of the best Mario Karts yet, It I still very similar to the Mario Karts we have known and loved over the years. Gran prix mode, which is meant to be the key part of Mario Kart, is the part of Mario kart that let me down the most, it's not that it's bad or anything, it's just that to get gold trophies in all four different levels you need to a lot of racing and it bores you aftera while. The best improvment to Mario Kart is the midair stunt system which can ear you a speed boost simply by flicking the wiimote. I quite often have friends or family around, and every time without fail, I get the wii out and we have a great time playing on Mario Kart. It keeps the automatic thoughts of Mario (old school, but still fun) in your head, but you love playing on it! The graphics aren't great, but they're 3D, and the game's fun to play on! There are two controls you can use to control the kart; the wiimote and nunchuck, or the wiimote in the wheel adaptor. ...This is a review about my latest addiction ? Mario Karts! The game is in simple terms a driving game where you can race in the different grand prix cups, against friends or random people online as well as a few other game options. I have never particularly enjoyed racing games on any games console as I am horrendous at them and lose all the time and in my frustration usually end up throwing the control at my opponents head and get banned from playing! ...Excellent Idea, great value for money and very addictive. That sums up Mario Kart Wii in a sentence! Very entertaining with a nice variety of levels including ones from previous Mario Kart games (eg. SNES and Game Cube). Tracks Include: WII Stages: Block Plaza - A good level, especially for battle mode - there are many ramps and moveable features. 2 Level Floor Plan Delfino Pier - Another good level, although can become slightly tedious when you seem to just go around in circles.
