FREE DVDs
Advantages: Free trial, large choice, post included, new realeases
Disadvantages: see review
...I like movies and I like freebies, so when you get offered both in one swoop you?re bound to accept! I used my two week free trial with this company and remained with them for a couple of monthsbefore moving on to try many other companies free trials (and winning a new DVD player on Tesco DVD rental site on their free trial offer). I then had an email from DVDs 365 asking me to go back, and offering me a free DVD if I did so. I had just left Tesco (with my new DVD player) so I chose to go back with them.
∆◊◊ THE SERVICE THEY OFFER ∆◊◊
Basically it?s like going to a video shop and hiring films on DVD, except you don?t pay for each film you chose ? rather a monthly fee for which you can watch as many movies as you can fit in, for us this is usually around 8 a month (2 a week usually weekends...

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54
Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.
...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied.
On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. All the components such as cables, remote and manuals were well presented in their own protective plastic bags, to keep them protected. The player...

Top Marks!
Advantages: Eat in for £10 for 2 people
Disadvantages: May not have full selection
...Marks and Spencer Dine in for two at £10 offer has been running for sometime now, but I hadn't seen it in the new shop that opened nearly a year ago in Livingston, until quite recently - probably because I went at the beginning of the week and it is only on Thursday to Sunday inclusive. I think it has become so popular at Marks that other supermarkets have followed and copied the idea but I have never been tempted in Tesco, as the selection was quite poor, the wine had run out etc.
We have tried this a few times now and only once have been disappointed with one product. Marks and Spencer are renowned for good quality food although they do tend to be quite expensive, but in a world where people want to cook quickly they certainly provide easy to cook and tasty prepared food. Saving on the washing up too as they tend to be in foil...

Top Marks
Advantages: excellent food
Disadvantages: a little costly
...We have all heard the stories of how poorly Marks and Spencer’s is doing in the clothing department, although things have started to improve. One area Marks had proven to be extremely profitable is their food halls. Marks and Spencer without a doubt provide some of the best food around, albeit more expensive than a typical high street supermarket.
The food halls at Marks and Spencer’s are usually brightly lit, although the ones I have been in haven’t been brilliantly laid out, and are certainly not we would now class as a typical sized supermarket. Indeed frequently (if not in all cases) Marks and Spencer food halls are placed in an existing clothing shop.
Prices are a little steep, but their food products are quality, and any unused food (at least sandwiches) is given to the local homeless when the shop shuts...

marked out of ten? eight
Advantages: Very readable and enjoyable
Disadvantages: Took me a few chapters to really get into, very American
...Marked is the first book of the House of Night saga from mother and daughter team PC and Kristin Cast. Marked is the first book of the House of Night saga from mother and daughter team PC and Kristin Cast. I bought my copy for just £2.99 new, but the jacket price is £5.99, as with most books now, if you shop around you are pretty much guaranteed to get a deal on it. At present the first five books are available, the sixth (Tempted) is due for paperback release on October 27th 2009, but doesn't seem to be being released in hardback. A seventh book, Burned, has been announced with an expected release date of May 2010.
**History and background**
This is another saga of teenage/young adult vampire fiction, a genre which regularly comes back into vogue. Cast seems to have piggybacked on the huge success of the Harry Potter series, and I...

Does Marks hit the mark?
Advantages: Ideal location for city centre
Disadvantages: none really
...Having to travel from time to time for work I recently found myself having to spend the best part of a week in Glasgow and in need of somewhere to lay my weary head at the end of the day and Marks hit the spot in terms of distance from the office and located right in the middle of the city centre with shops and bars a few minutes walk away.
Now I am not particularly fussy on where I stay and to be honest really dont have a huge say in the matter as we tend to opt for a combination of convenience and price that falls within the allowed budget so the question was would Marks hit the Mark,
Marks describes itself as a 'luxury 4 star hotel but is it really?
Arriving at the hotel at the end of our 1st day in Glasgow, having got off the train and straight to the office my colleague and I where tired and weary. The hotel itself is easy...

Top Marks for Food to Go..
Advantages: Great selection, top quality..
Disadvantages: ..except carton - yuck!
...*I could find nowhere better to put my opinion - this will have to do!*
I was looking around Ciao recently and was amazed to find that I could not find, wherever I looked, an opinion on Marks & Spencer Food to Go. Food to Go is the new name for its sandwiches and general snacks – the ones that workers buy for lunch.
If you’ve ever entered a Marks & Spencer store at around 1pm on Monday lunchtime, you will see hundreds of people wearing smart suits all crowding round one particular part of the store. That part, of course, is the Marks & Spencer Sandwich Store.. bliss!
Competitors..
Other stores, such as Boots and WHSmith are all trying to take some of Marks’ business, but are failing. You see, Marks & Spencer is the king of two things – sandwiches and ladies underwear, and there’s nothing that...

full marks for full marks
Advantages: done the job well, no smell
Disadvantages: oily
...hatch into mor lice in about a week.
I went out and bought a bottle of full marks solution, feeling a bit wierd and dirty, and brought it home. It works not by the traditional poisoning method, but rather it kind of over hydrates them, and kills them that way. This sounded ideal as i knew that they are in general starting to resist poisons. In the box i got a bottle of solution (100ml), which it says is enough for two treatments, however i found that it was ample for at least three, though this would depend on the length of the hair. Also i got a comb to remove the dead lice.
Full marks -
- eliminates eggs as well as lice
- contains no traditional pesticides
- is quick and easy to use
- has a low odour.
You use the comb to comb the hair and make sure there are no tangles. Then you massage in the solution, all the way through...

Review of Full Marks Solution

Full Marks Solution
Advantages: quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: none
...Full Marks Solution
A few weeks ago I had someone that was staying with us and unfortunately she appeared to have nits the dreaded word.
So off I went to the Chemist to see what was on offer and would give a positive response and to get rid of the little blighters.
So I came across Full Marks and this was on special offer so I bought it and hurried back home to start battle with the nits.
It was packaged in a box which is appealing to the eye and inside the box there is a plastic bottle and it states that the size I bought would do 2 treatments. Inside the box it also includes a metal nit comb to use for no extra cost. When applying the solution what it actually does is dehydrates the nits and then they die. So after applying the solution for ten minutes and combing through the solution you will need to wash it out...

Marks and Sparks
Advantages: The food is heavenly
Disadvantages: Rather pricey and no stores in some towns
...Ok, I was one of those kids who had to hide the labels on her packed lunch at school (and her clothes) cause my Mum was a 'Marks and Sparks freak'. It was just such an embarrassment when I was younger.
However, when I left home, I suddenly found that I didn't like Sainsbury's cheddar, or Tescos Chicken Tikka Masala!
I eventually ventured into Marks and Spencer myself... was I turning into a fuddy duddy?
In reality, Marks and Spencer food is just better than everyone elses... try their cheddar, I guarantee that you won't regret it, nor will you go back to other supermarket brands.
The Chicken Tikka is creamy and mild, I just have never found another one that I liked anywhere. Try it with their garlic baguettes, a meal made in heaven.
Raspberry Royales (raspberries, jelly, sponge and cream) are the most delicious...
