...I stayed in this hotel in March 2000.It rates as a good 4 star boarding on a five which I quite happly agree with.This hotel is very handy for both tube and trams routes( both less than a minutes walk and you cannot get lost).Limo service are available in nice modern Mercedes which the hotel own and cost only £12.00 each way plus tip to and from Prague Airport(30 minutes drive).Many tourist areas are within easy walk or tram ride. This hotel doesnot offer any outstanding views from its rooms, but saying that it still is it a area which i feel safe walking in at night. The hotel its self is what you expect from Marriott's upper ranges of hotels.Service is excellant, staff are very friendly but still formal in the way they speak to you.Staff couldnot be anymore helpful.The hotel it self was clean, well decorated and maintained...

...I stayed at the Marriott Royal County recently.The hotel is very easy to find. Local shops are only a five minute walk away as are local pubs and restaurants. This hotel also makes a good choice. One problem you might find is trying to find a parking space. This is an ideal location from which to explore Durham. There is an indoor heated pool. The service in the hotel was first class. Hotel In prague

Advantages: Reasonably cheap accomodation
Disadvantages: No in house Restaurant, No Room Service

...The accomodation Upon checking in to the accomodation I was asked for my Passport, so they could check the details of the booking I had made under my own name. I guess they use this procedure against breakages and in case of theft, trouble etc. I have not known this to be a feature in accomodation in England. This company procedure did not bother me whatsoever. I travelled alone to this accomodation, having booked a small room, however when I was shown my room I am sure it would have been suitable for two people. As I was staying in prague for two nights on a leisurely short city break, this did not particularly bother me too much regarding the standard of the facilities. When I was shown my room there were two single Bed's situated side-by-side. The Bed's to my eyes looked nineteen eightees style old fashioned beds...

Prague Castle

Advantages: Great view

...As some of you will know from my other review I visited Prague recently. I didn't include Prague Castle in that review because it seemed like the review was already really long but as it is one of the main attractions. This review is going to be really mixed because there is so much to Prague castle. It's really like going to a little village because there is so much to the castle and the area around it and if you want to see it all then you'll need to spend the entire day there. -Tickets- I bought a Prague Card and got the short tour free on that but if you don't have a prague card the prices are: Short Tour- 250 crowns (£9.22) Long Tour-350 Crowns (£12.90) You can also pay to get into individual attractions and discounts are available, as well as family tickets. ...The Marriott hotel in Waltham abbey is about five minutes down the road from me, and my company had its Christmas party there. Because I live so close I had to argue, but eventually they agreed to book me a room in there fore when I was too drunk to want to get a cab home after!! Because I have always lived near this hotel I have never had any reason to go into it and therefore had no idea what I looked like from the inside. Location and outside appearance The Marriott hotel is right next to the M25 turn off and a few turn offs to other A roads, this means that it is in a location with no ships near by and it is not an easy place to get to (you can't walk to it). Advantages: Beautiful hotel with friendly staff

...In February, I went to Budapest with my parents for a few days. My dad booked the break over the internet (flights and accommodation) so he chose the hotel that we stayed in. Having stayed in a Marriott hotel on a previous holiday, I was not disappointed when he told us that we would be staying in a Marriott in Budapest. What I didn't know until we got there was that we would be staying in a junior suite! (The room was discounted when we stayed so we got a better room for our money! :) The Budapest Marriott is located on the riverside of Pest and had a fantastic view of the river Danube. The Marriott - More Rabbit than Sainsbury's!??!

Advantages: Exceptional Customer Service, Location, Free Parking, You can use your Tesco Vouchers
Disadvantages: Slightly Pricey compared to Travel Lodges etc

...Background We recently spent two nights staying at the Marriott Hotel in Edinburgh. We had booked through the Tesco Clubcard Deals scheme and intended to use the hotel as a base for visiting Edinburgh Zoo and Deep Sea World. Location The hotel is located on the western edge of Edinburgh, on Glasgow Road, a mere two miles from the airport, and only 4 miles from Edinburgh city centre. It has ample free on-site parking and is just off the A8. It is also only 5 minutes walk from the Gyle Shopping Centre. The bus-stops outside the hotel are frequented by a number of buses bound for both the city centre and the airport. Review of Edinburgh Marriott Hotel

Great stay at this hotel in Prague

Advantages: Low price paid per night, decent basic breakfast
Disadvantages: No tea and coffee facilities inside the room.

...Hotel Apollon Prague Introduction Having stayed in Prague many times before I decided upon staying at this hotel as it was slightly outside the town centre area of Prague and it did have easy access to the town centre by using trams. Getting there From Dejvicka we got the green line metro to Mustek, wencezlas square, then outside Debenhams from Wencezlas square I took the number nine tram which took about 15 minutes on the tram. Paying for the accomodation This was paid for in advance using a credit card using www.booking.com. I paid a total of £20 a night which was excellent value for money, though I was slightly annoyed as my credit card was charged straightaway for the booking.
