...This is perhaps the most classic chocolate bar from my childhood. It has long been my favourite as a kid and I sort of have to say it still is so as not to feel as if I have disowned it (sorry Mars Bar but I have found other favourites - I still love you though!). 'A Mars a day helps you work rest and play' - this was the little catchphrase that was associated with Mars Bar. Funny really; it's like saying a chocolate bar a day is good for you. The slogan has now changed to 'Pleasure you can't measure' which definitely seems more appropriate. A standard Mars bar comes at 58g, about 11cm long and 1.8cm high. You'll pay about 32p for this bar in supermarkets which is well below the norm of 50p. Advantages: A milky, chewy delicious piece of satisfaction and beauty.

...I have no idea if this is normal, but if I am to ever get a real craving for a chocolate bar, this is it every time. The Mars Bar is a classic and is both substantial and delicious. When I have my Mars Bar I always tend to microwave it just a bit to get it nice and soft. The actual bar provides a satisfying amount of delicious milky chocolate and a lovely thick layer of caramel. Obviously, I have not just forgotten to mention the nougat which gives the bar it's lovely chewy texture and it's sustenance. Another thing that is prevelant with the Mars Bar is it's versatility; by which I mean, you can eat it in so many different ways, just the technique provides an awesome experience. I love Mars Bars and have to say that if you ever really need a chocolate bar, and a decent sized one at that too, pick a Mars Bar....

Pale brown (milk) chocolate bar. Inside a pale nougat and on top a strip of golden caramel. The chocolate is thick enough so that you can nibble it off and be left with a scrumptious but sticky blob of nougat and caramel. But you don't have to. Mars bar midnight limited edition

Advantages: Not as sickly as the regular mars bar

...I am not a big fan of mars bars, I find them too sickly. But nevertheless I felt it was my duty to try a Mars midnight. It is essentialy a mars bar covered in dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate, and the centre is white as opposed to a brown colour. It is and a wrapper much the same as a regular Mars bar except it has midnight written on it to and the words limited edition! It isn't as sickly tasting as a regular mars bar, but seems to have a burnt taste to it, not sure if this comes from the chocolate or the centre, but I would guess at the chocolate. The chocolate in nice and glossy when you first open the wrapper. The caramel a soft and sticky as caramel should be! Ane the nougat filling is soft and light, pretty much like a milky way bar filling. In fact this is probably best described as a milky way with caramel...
