Born 14th May 1976 - Hackney London - Martine trained at Italia Conti Stage School and at 15 was picked to be in girl band Milan, the toured with East 17 in 1994. It was in January 1995 they she got her big break when she was cast as Tiffany Raymond in East Enders a long running soap on BBC1. She stayed with the soap and before long 'Tiff' was a household name. The overflow car park is in a hilly field opposite the attraction, on a busy drizzly rainy bank holiday day like the day we went, you might end up with a couple of issues trying to get your vehicle out if the weather turned into torrential rain. However there are quite a few helpful parking attendants, some driving diggers around. The attendants are however very organized in getting people parked, but you could end up a few hundred meters away from the attraction and on a grassy hill, so bare this in mind if you are coming with a pregnant wife, young children who need push chairs, or infirm elderly relative, and on a family bank holiday outing you might have all three. The Latin Legend Ricky Martin UNPLUGGED

Advantages: Amazing songs, real music, feels like you were at the recording, subtitles in different languages
Disadvantages: People who can't understand Spanish may find it difficult to understand what Ricky says

...Ricky Martin is THE legend of Latin music and in my opinion always will be! His MTV Unplugged DVD is by far the most entertaining and cultural music DVD ever made. I really enjoy watching it! It has a 'feel good' quality about it, and is also quite educational in learning about a different culture and the Spanish/Latin American language, which I think is truly beautiful. For some reason, I felt proud watching it... it really makes you reflect on your life though, because the songs are quite emotional (not to the point of crying though. Obviously I don't cry over a song! haha). Ricky's vocals are flawless and he has his own destinctive sound. Martin Lawrence Live - Runteldat

Advantages: Hilarious throughout with a twist of philosophy.
Disadvantages: Could easily offend many people. Special features don't add much.

...One weekend I was on the lookout for a good comedy film and I came across this Martin Lawrence stand up. Having only seen in him good cop - bad cop movies before (all of which I found amazingly funny) I wasn't aware that this was where he started his career so I thought I'd give him a shot. It starts with a short film about the trials and tribulations (a phrase you shall hear throughout the stand-up) in Martin's life, both personally and professionally, and is a real eye-opener for those who just thought of him as an uncomplicated comedy actor. The stand-up itself starts with the obligatory thankyou's and minor insults directed at the crowd but once he gets into his flow his comedy brilliance really shines through. Advantages: - you learn some important aspects that are vital for your degree.
Disadvantages: - Totally unfair UK:International and Student:Tutor time

...Central Saint Martins is known to be a good and thorough art school. The building was in a nice location, the workshops satisfactory consisting of : Wood, Metal, Ceramics, Stitch and Print. Within Foundation the classes split into - Fine Art: Painting, sculpture, contextual studies, video & photography - 3DD: Architecture, product design, jewellery, spatial design - Design: Textiles, Fashion, Fashion Communication, Graphics, Illustration, Visual Communication. My first opinion is that it was enjoyable and you get to experience most of every pathway. What was disappointing is that generally, everything seems rushed and you get a month to experience ALL of these pathways. Be warned that most of the course is rushed. Advantages: warm sound, For a range of styles, time proven dreadnaught design.
Disadvantages: Laminated back and sides

...I baught the guitar about a year ago and have played it nearly every day since. I play Jazz, folk and blues fingerstyle and the Martin suits my style of playing. The guitar has a solid spruce top and laminated mahogany back and sides giving it a very warm sound that has improved after playing. My first impressions of the guitar was how well it was built. It had no rough edges and no other noticable imperfections. When buying the guitar i was considering a Taylor 214 and a Yamaha LL. I recomend buying the Taylor equivelent if a brighter sound is required. I didnt buy the Yamaha as it sounded dull due to old strings and the shop keeper would not replace them for me. I have played the yamaha since and if i had the choice again i would buy the Yamaha as you get solid back and sides for the money and i love the sound that Bert Jansch gets out...

...The Martin Roboscan 812 is a very impressive light. The Roboscan 812 is now a discontinued model but can still be found at many clubs around the world, although discontinued parts are readily available on the internet. Good condition second-hand fixtures can be purchased individually for between £70-£100. I own four of theses lights and must say that for their age they will easily compete with most modern DJ fixtures. The light output is bright and has a good 'true white' colour temperature due to the use of the 150W Metal Halide Discharge bulb. The units are very heavy though (weighing not too short of 10Kg each) however, i would much rather have this weight as it comes with durability unlike many of the new breakable plastic scanners appearing from china. Built in light-show isn't great, and sound activation doesn't really seem...
