I purchased it from Amazon.co.uk with a free five pound voucher that I received through lineone.com. I bought this book because I like reading autobiographies and I had seen martin kemp on this is your life and found his tales to be fascinating. Reviewing books is not one of my strong points but I just had to write about this so bare with me. Peeing on Martin Kemp

Advantages: Great decor and nice atmosphere
Disadvantages: Food lacked flavour and was pricey

...garlic or ginger in it I want to be able to know that from the taste and not just from the description in the menu. What is on offer is a good number of choices for vegetarians, easy access for those with disabilities and the chance to pee on Martin Kemp. What more could a diner ask for. Advantages: Inspirational. An absorbing & compelling read.
Disadvantages: A couple of subjects are covered a bit 'vaguely'.

To cut a long story short

Advantages: a good read
Disadvantages: quite a few swear words

...This is the title of the first song Martin Kemp and Spandau Ballet released as a band, I thought it would be a good title for my op. Martin Kemp craved to be in a band from being very young. His big brother gary joined a band first and Martin would roadie for them. He was brought up in Islington London at no. 138 Rotherfield St and is now 39 years old(same age as me). It really gives you an insite into Martin Kemps life and the ups and downs of being in a sucessful eighties band with all the highs and lows that follow. Its nice to see that he has his feet firmly on the ground with no airs and graces and that he married Shirlie and has a happy homelife which seems to be lacking with most famous people these days. It is one of the best biography's I have read in a long time, hope you enjoy it too. A truly great man and a great read....

...Well the title will explain how this book was for me! I was totally hooked from the first page. My friend lent me this book as she had finished it and thought it to be a good read. I wasn't sure at first if it would be my sort of book as before I had not read a biography. I also knew about Martin Kemp and remember Spandau Ballet but was just a little young to be one of the many young girls drooling over them. He starts the book by describing the scene when he first found about his brain tumours. He is so open and honest about his feelings that you almost get the impression you are there. it's all TRUE!!

...I have read this book about three times, and have never become bored of it. From the first page you become engrossed in the story. I was never a spandal ballet fan. I only ever liked the song true. But after seeing martin kemp in Eastenders, and hearing about his life with a brain tumour, I wanted to know more. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ About the book ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He is very open in this book, and starts right back when he was young. The struggle he had to get his talent heard. His brother was the one who was spotted before him. Life wasn't easy for him in spandal ballet. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging.
