Maserati 3200GT - more than a name

Advantages: You have the name at price
Disadvantages: Not the acceleration for those boy racers!

...~#General Information#~ I personally do not own this car, however my best friend does and we often go out for a drive in it. Personally I would love to drive the Maserati 3200GT. Here is some information just generally about the car. It does between 12/20 mpg. For a car of its type I think that this is very reasonable and can think of many family saloons that this is not far from. The car weights in at 3501 lbs. This is average for a car of its size and type. It enables it to stick to the road whilst giving the Twin-turbo V8 engine a light frame to soar down the road on. It works on a 6 gear transmission system. The engine is situated in the front of the car and is rear wheel drive. ...Italians do it...quite well..when it comes to cars! I had the chance to drive this car in the States. I have not driven many sport cars in my life, but i can tell you that I will never forget what it is like driving a Maserati. Within the city or where speed controls are rife, the car run smoothly as if it did not have the huge engine it has. The temperature never goes above 90, and the engine makes a cool and soft noise. The gear has 6 speeds, which add to the fun of driving this beauty. The acceleration is terrific, I have overtook few cars with such ease, while with other cars, I would not even have dreamt about it. If a small defect exists, it is in the 1st gear, which I found "too short". Particularly at the beginning, I was either overdoing it with the first gear, thus bringing the engine indicator in the red...

From a Girl's Point of View

Advantages: cute, small, lovely
Disadvantages: Very Expensive

...Well seeing as though i dont know much about cars i cant write about it's engine size and spoilers and whatever car stuff im supose to write about. But what i can say is that this is a very cute car. And i like it. well there are two types of coupe with maserati the coupe GT and the coupe cambiocorsa. I have the GT so im going to talk about that. *-*design*-* the GT has a classy but sporty look about it . The bodywork is smooth yet has got that aggression about it, being the baby sister of Ferrari. It looks very good and even better when your sitting in it. *-*interior*-* Sportiness combined with uncompromising luxury. the silver interior gives the sport feel whilst being sooooo comfy. i thank the italien designer for that. Review of Maserati coupé

Fastest car I've ever driven

Advantages: Very fast and smooth
Disadvantages: expensive

...My local purveyor of automotive exotica for some reason sent me an invitation to test drive this beauty. After debating with myself for several milliseconds, I accepted their kind offer. I'm glad I did . Since Maserati came under the wing of Fiat/Ferrari their cars have improved massively. I was pleased to find out that the car I was due to drive had a 4.2 litre Ferrari V8 pushing out a massive 390 bhp. This is sufficient to rocket the car to 60 in under 5 seconds. It certainly felt very quick indeed under full bore acceleration in 3rd gear, overtaking was not a problem ! Less good however was the Cambiocorsa semi automatic paddle operated transmission. It worked well enough, but was never very smooth. A responsive sportscar of this type would be much better with a traditional manual box I feel. Handling felt very secure...

Review of Maserati 4200 GT

Lucky enough to have one outside

Advantages: tExtremely quick and attention grabing
Disadvantages: Expensive and maybe not so good on build quality

...This week I am lucky enough to have a Maserati 3200GT outside. It's the same colour as the picture here and is 4 years old. The car is actually on hire from a classic car club that I belong to, it goes back a week after I've had it with 2000 extra miles on. So, what's it like. The looks are understated for a car of this type, it's obviously a bit special but it's not as ostentatious as a Ferrari for example. It's a very big car - about the same external size as my Jaguar X-Type. Personally I like the looks, it has a gorgeous front end, excellent side on view but perhaps the rear is a little flat. Still the Maserati lettering across the back announces its pedigree. I have been waiting to drive this car for nearly 6 months. It was the first car I booked from the club but I arranged it for a summer week so that I could enjoy some...

Very fast, exclusive, lots of toys

Disadvantages: Bits falling off, running costs

...OK, so the Maserati Spyder isn't the best built fast car on the market, but I don't think that's going to be a big surprise to anybody. I've had the cuddy box lid break (pings open every time you go over a bump), the handbrake has stopped working (I've had some crappy cars in the past but never had anything as simple as a handbrake go wrong!), the reversing sensors just beep constantly but don't actually indicate how far away anything is behind you, the clutch makes a funny noise in 1st and the heated seats have stopped working. But..... What a noise! I've had people fall off the pavement behind me when I've gone past, and people are contantly stopping at my driveway to have a closer look (mostly husbands pointing it out to their uninterested wives - 'but why can't I have one dear?', with wifey looking painfully bored and annoyed...

...The Maserati 3200GT is my ultimate car. When my numbers come up on the lottery (why is it taking so long?), the first thing I'm going to do is grab one of these beauties. Ok, apparently Maserati used to be a bit dodgy in the eighties and early nineties, but then so was most of the cars to come out of the Fiat stable. A couple of years ago Ferrari took over the running of Maserati and re-kitted their factory specifically in readiness for production of the 3200GT. The result is a car that can easily compete against its price rivals from Jaguar, Porsche and even Aston Martin. From the front it indeed looks similar to the Aston, but not from the back. Where on earth did those crazy Italiens think up those curved rear light clusters? - they are completely unique. Stuffed under the bonnet is a 370bhp DOHC Twin Turbo 32-valve V8...

Could Have Been So Much Better! Test Drive Unlimited Xbox 360

Advantages: Lots of cars, island, Xbox Live challenges, cop chases, cheap

...Test Drive Unlimited is a driving game published by Atari for the Xbox 360 console. I first played the game because my Xbox 360 came with the demo and I played it and really enjoyed it. I loved the cop chases and the lovely island but there were some things I did not like as well. The things I liked: I liked the fact the game had lots of licensed cars (over 100) which look great and really realistic. These licensed cars come from brands like Audi, Aston Martin, Cadillac, Dodge, Ferrari, Ford, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Mc-Laren, Mercedes, Nissan, Volkswagen and many more! The game also includes bikes which is a big plus for me because if you start getting bored driving your car around the island you can pop on a bike and do lots of wheelies!
