...The Mask is a comedy made in 1994 and was part of the trifecta (the others being "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and "Dumb & Dumber") that propelled Jim Carrey from unknown to superstar. It also made a star of another unknown actor, this time being Cameron Diaz. Jim Carrey plays Stanley Ipkiss, a bank clerk and a really nice guy. But, he is a bit of a pushover and never really stand up for himself. After a particularly bad day, he stumbles upon a mask, that he finds out depicts Loki, the Norse god of mischief. When he puts on the mask, he turns into a green faced, wacky, snappy dresser! Mudd Mask

Advantages: Leave skin so smooth, easy to use

...Occasionally I like to have a pampering night where I sit in front of the TV, do a face mask, paint my toenails and generally do girlie things. One of my favourite face masks to use is the Mudd range of face masks. ...I visited my local Lush branch last week in search of a fresh face mask to sort out my tired looking skin. I do use their products fairly regularly, but it had been some weeks since I'd used a fresh mask and my face felt like it could do with a treat. I went towards the end of the day and was pleasantly surprised that they still had a full range of fresh masks, although this did make my job of deciding which one to take home a little more difficult! Review of Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask

Behind the mask is an exceptional film

Advantages: Amazing story and brilliant performances
Disadvantages: The softness of the picutre due to the way it was shot

..., I have revisited this film numerous times as it is one of the most compelling dramas I have ever had the pleasure to watch. What is also quite amazing about this film is that it was released in the middle of the 80s when the cinema going audiences seemed to want innocent entertainment like "Back to the Future" instead of powerful true life dramas such as this. For me when I read that a film is based on a true story I approach it with a certain amount of caution, but whilst I cannot say how accurate this interpretation is, I can say that it is vastly different to the majority of films which base their plots on a real life story. Whilst the usual route of action for true story films is to pile on the sentiment with highly contrived scenes which focus on pushing the audiences' buttons to gain a desired emotion. ...My friend used to work for Wella SP and I was lucky to be blessed with some of her samples and although this is a very expensive range it is fantastic, I do not think that I would buy it as the price is a very big off put, but the products are first class and in a class of their own. Wella SP Hydro Mask is a treatment thats helps condition your hair and that gives maximum moisture to your dry hair making it soft to touch and keeping your hair well conditioned. For the best results massage into your clean damp hair, it suggests you leave it in for 5 minutes, but I have found the longer you leave it the better. To intensify the effect of the Hydro Mask add heat to the hair, Then after a while rinse the mask out thoroughly. I try and use it once every couple of weeks as I find it time consuming as I leave it on for up to an hour...

The Queen of face masks!

Advantages: Low price + large tube + gorgeous mint scent + really works!
Disadvantages: Sulfur smell - flip-top would be better - possibly update the design

...I love mint...mmm it's got such a gorgeous smell! I also love how they use the word "masque" rather than "mask"; there's nothing fancy about this item, though ;) PACKAGING This mask comes in both tube form and tub form. I, personally, prefer the tube and am not such a fan of the tub. I think it's just because the tubes are easier to carry around, for example, if staying overnight somewhere, and so on. The tub is more economical, though, it has to be said. The tube is made from 'soft' plastic - the plastic that you can squeeze easily, exactly like the E45 tubes of cream. To me, the design is retro - it doesn't look modern, rather it looks like a classic oldie. It sports white and green gradient background with a deep green plastic lid. The lid is of the screw-top type. My only gripe is that it could have a flip-top lid...

...As soon as I heard about this facemask I knew I had to try it! I love facemasks and the combination of mud and chocolate sounded irrisistable to me! Lush says that it removes excess oil and calms breakouts. The main ingredient Rhassoul mud cleans and soothes, the other ingredients cocoa butter, Linseed and cocoa powder soften the skin.Lastly peppermint, spearmint and sandalwood oils are used for balancing the skins natural oils. To look at it does indeed resemble cupcake mixture. It is thick gooey and choclately looking. Once you take it out of the fridge it looks very much like chocolate icing that is good enough to eat! The smell is also chocolatey but not in a sickly way I think. Once you apply it to your skin it feels really thick and luxurious and I did seem to more use of this on my face than Love Lettuce mask due to it...
