Moisture Rich Masque
Review of Montagne Jeunesse Moisture Balm and Sensitive Masque by
rory7411
Advantages: Fresh moisturised skin and it's cheap
Disadvantages: Might get a bit too oily
...Montagne Jeunesse produce a variety of masques for face and body that come in one application sachets for 99p each. One of the reasons that I like this company's products is that they are approved by the vegetarian society and are 'bunny friendly' ie against animal testing. I hadn't tried this particular masque before and thought I had nothing to lose seeing as Sainsbury's were doing a BOGOF offer, and it was intriguing as I haven't seen any two-stage masques and moisturisers before.
~~~THE PACKAGING~~~
The Zen Flower Sensitive Masque and Moisture Balm package is slightly larger that the normal masques, as it contains 3 ml moisturising lotion as well as the usual 15ml masque. Read the instructions carefully or you might so what I nearly did and open the moisture balm first, I'm right handed and always tear from L to R and of course...
The Masque that restored my faith!
Review of Dermalogica Skin Refining Masque by
tia_bailey
Advantages: Softens, smoothes, controls oil, helps prevent breakouts
Disadvantages: None
...This was yet another of my rather expensive impulse buys, bought whilst stocking up on my 'essentials'. I bought it from my favourite online beauty store for £22.50, but I know it can be found cheaper elsewhere (you may think I'm mad paying more than I need to for it, but I've become quite loyal to this particular site as I think it's fantastic!). The cheapest I've seen it selling for is £17.95. After being quite disappointed with my last Dermalogica face masque, I did feel rather pessimistic about whether the Dermalogica Skin Refining Masque would be any better, but decided to give it a go anyway.
The tube comes packaged in a sliver-grey box with information about the product printed on it. The tube itself is white with a grey flip-top lid. The lid is easy to open and fastens securely. All information on the tube is printed in grey...
The ULTIMATE hair colour MASQUE
Review of Garnier Natea Nutricolour Masque by
Connoisseur_Haggler
Advantages: rich easy to apply texture- non-drip, nourishing masque, rich long lasting hair colour
Disadvantages: not many..gloves poor quality, availability/discontinuation of some colours
...If you are looking for a long lasting hair colour to try at home then there is nothing better than to try a permanent hair dye. One of the best vibrant permanent hair dyes that I have found is Laboratoire Garnier’s NATEA nutricolour masque. It is far more than simply a hair dye..it is a nourishing and conditioning treatment too!
Laboratoire Garnier is a large well established beauty and healthcare company and is currently the prime leader in its field in Canada and Asia. It was originally established in Paris almost 100 years ago and since then it has been at the forefront of technology mixing high end hair care products with natural ingredients.
Natea is available in an ever increasing number of colours, from ash blonde to jet black, the one I have used is Natea’s intense dark brown. However I am finding difficulty...
Disappointing masque
Review of Montagne Jeunesse Sauna Masque by
rory7411
Advantages: It's relaxing
Disadvantages: Didn't work for me
...Montagne Jeunesse products are not tested on animals and are usually good value for money at 99p each and can often be found on BOGOF offer.
THE MASQUE
-------------------
Normally I'm very happy with the masques but not in this particular case. The package is exactly as you can see in the picture above, with the ingredients and instructions on the back. The picture on the front of the packet looks rich, red and thick but the product itself is actually pale pink and quite relatively runny. Most of the time I might be able to get two or possibly three applications out of a 15ml packet but not in this case, I could only get one and found it quite difficult to apply as despite having a more liquid consistency than normal it was sticky and didn't want to come off of my fingers.
Masquing My Emotions
Review of Montagne Jeunesse Sauna Masque by
Coxecal
Advantages: really tightens pores and makes skin feel fantastic
Disadvantages: can get quite hot if left on too long..
...Well.. let me start off by saying that the only two reasons I bought this stuff was 1) it was on sale from Tesco online for 2 sachets for 99p... and 2) it said "anti stress" on the package so I decided to treat myself....
And so... The Op Begins.... (rolls out the drums... Spartacus music... and with a horde of naked women prancing around whilst displaying the colourful redish purple 15 mL sachet with a chic's face covering in a crimson frosting like goo... green leaves and maroon coloured poo chunks... with the words Montagne Jeunesse Red, Hot Earth Anti Stress Sauna Masque Deep Pour Cleansing and Toning Self Heating Therapy Clay.... or MJRHEASSMDPCTSHTC for short...)
hehe... that was fun... anyways...
After all the things that have been going on lately like being sick... the war still getting ugly... getting ready to move back...
Fantasic Firming Masque
Review of St Ives Swiss Formula Firming Masque by
MurkyDismal
Advantages: Tight, Smooth skin.
Disadvantages: A bit Gunky
...I like St Ives products. I think they are really good value for money and the products are usually pretty good. There is also a wide variety of products on offer from this brand.
The one I'm going to write about to day is the "Firming Masque". It comes in a 150ml tube. I bought this for 99p from a bargain shop. I was very pleased with the price and the amount that I got for the price. I will point out, I love bargains with a passion! I also bought another St Ives product when I purchased this one, it was in the same size tube and cost the same. As you can imagine, I was very pleased with my shopping that day.
I have seen the same products from St Ives in Superdrug before, and the prices have been much more expensive. I think the size tube that I got for 99p would probably cost around £4 from somewhere like Superdrug.
It says...
