Mastercard... The Master of all cards in my wallet

Advantages: You can buy and cash money from almost any where in the world
Disadvantages: overspending???

...My Story: I have got my new MasterCard a few weeks ago and It was a bit of a long and complicated procedure to get it. The story goes like that: I applied for the MasterCard and I was called afterwards and asked to send a proof of my student status (I am currently a full time post grad). On the same day I photocopied my University registration document and sent it back to the relevant address. Then I waited. After a week I called and was told to wait for several more days and so I did. After 10 days I got a phone call saying that I should call a number and ask the University department to allow the disclosure of my information to the bank so that the bank can process my application further. Beware of this Cashplus Mastercard!

Advantages: Honestly can not think of any.
Disadvantages: Missing topups, only contact is extortionate 0871 number (90p per min), very unprofessional customer services

For those that are unfamiliar with prepaid credit cards I will attempt to give a simple explanation. In reality they are not exactly credit cards, they work on the same principles of a debit card. For Everything Else, There’s....

Advantages: I get to use a ® and Mastercards are great
Disadvantages: Credit in general isn't a good idea for most members of the population

Advantages: No credit check needed to get one and accepted pretty much everywhere that takes Mastercard

My flexible travelling friend

Advantages: Accepted in most places, easy to sign up to & use, no purchase fee
Disadvantages: Have to pay to take your money out at the end (thats if you have any left!) No money security

Want a credit card but got a bad credit rating?

Advantages: Can get a Mastercard even if you have a totally crap credit rating!
Disadvantages: Does charge for the card and some other services

...pay for anything using his card if I gave him the money but I thought it would be a bit cheeky for him to pay for his own birthday present even if I was going to give him the cash!!!!!!
