...I have just watched my husband play this game with two of our children. All three of them were enjoying themselves while doinng Mathe. This game does not try to pretend it is any thing else but a maths game. The game comes with a board with 256 squares marked on it and 84 square tiles. Each tile has 4 triangles on it, each triangle is one of 4 colours and has a number in it. The colours represent different mathematical functions. Blue - subtraction Green - Multiplication Yellow - Addition Red - Division Each player takes 5 tiles and they take it in turn to place them on the board a bit like dominos matching colours. When a tile is placed next to other tiles the score for that go is calculated by working out the result of each junction. e.g if a tile is placed with 2 yellows together you add the numbers... Maths ideas for all ages, stages and abilities

Disadvantages: Not all activities are listed in great detail, but enough to understand it.

He gives step by step methods of making resources and setting things up, and has even written a helpful section at the back about using Excel and imroving your own knowledge of working in Excel. Good, simple, easy to follow book full of activities that can be used as the input for a main task, as a filler activity with a few spare minutes, or as a fun, exciting mental starter to Maths lessons....
