I have to admit the description puzzles and amuses me. After all I may be mature but my hair is probably the youngest part of me unless my nails have a better claim. I suppose I must face up to the fact that my follicles and capillaries will be showing signs of age but my hair seems to be much the same as it has always been, not sparse or thinning but extremely fine, fly away and damned annoying! I have grown it recently and had it cut in a "bob" having had it in short layers for years and, whilst I love the style, it needs a lot more help in the thickening/ volumising/body building (call it what you will) department! Skinned - It didn't leave me skinned of happiness.

Advantages: Realistic characters, interesting plot idea.
Disadvantages: Dragged on slightly in the middle, some loose ends concerning storylines.

It broached interesting topics within the story, futuristic racism against human-machines and whether or not a machine can actually feel. Lia doesn't have super powers or isn't hunted down by the Government but is a normal (alright, very vain but somewhat normal) teen who is forced into this metal body, more drama than action. The writing style is first person and I found the way Wasserman had written Lia realistic and strangely endearing even if some of the things she said were annoying. It slightly dragged on half way into the middle but the pace resumed its normal fun to read pace.
