...Those of you that have played Max Payne will know his backstory but I'll give a quick overview for those that don't. In the first game you discovered Max's wife and child were killed by junkies high on a new drug. Max was blamed for the death of his partner who was killed whilst they were both on an undercover mission. You then set out on your vengeance mission. Max Payne 2 follows on from Max Payne and is set 2 years after. He encounters hitmen and a woman, Mona Sax, who was assumed dead in the first game. Assassins come to attack her, you fight them off and then search for those responsible. Somewhat predictably there is a love story between Max and Mona. Max Payne 2- The fall of max payne

Advantages: Its a great game,
Disadvantages: not as long as I would want

...Max Payne is not a happy chappy as you may or may not know from the first Max Payne. After living the American dream he comes home one day to find his family dead, including his lovely little baby, and his house trashed. Naturally, as both a cop and a husband, he goes on an undercover mission to discover who did it etc etc. Anyway, back to the here and now. Max is back and with his lfe still in tatters he finds himself back in the NYPD. While investigating a murder he runs into a woman he previously thought dead. Mona sax, femme fatale murder suspect. She seems to have all the answers he wants but obviously its not going to be straightforward. Shorter but Just as Good as the First Max Payne

Advantages: Great Graphics for the PC and Good Graphics for the Xbox Overall and a Magnificent Story
Disadvantages: Shorter then the First Max Payne

...quite shorter then the first Max Payne and ends rather quickly. The story is more of a film noir style story this time around while the first game was a pure action story. The focuses on Max's love for Mona and his guilt. The story is still pretty much told through Graphics Novels but there is a lot more in-game cutscenes now with the actual 3d characters for a good majority of the game and all look rather good. Graphically the game is step-up (depending on which version you play). The character models are better and more mobile (there mouths actually move this time). The enviroments are crisp and realistic. The sound is once again awesome. The physics is also a huge step up. Thanks to the Havoc 2 engine, the character models move realistically and react more realistically when being shot. Max Payne, a real gem

Advantages: Innovitive gameplay
Disadvantages: a bit repetitive to begin with

...The graphics on Max Payne are probably average for a ps2 game these days. It certainly doesn’t rival Metal Gear Solid 2 or Final Fantasy in this category. The environments are well detailed but not very interactive. They sometimes look a bit flat but most of the time the urban setting combined with underground laboratories and shipyards never ceases to amaze. The characters, on the other hand, aren’t as impressive especially Max. The first time you catch a glimpse of his face you’ll have to laugh as he looks more like a cop in need of an urgent trip to the toilet rather than a cop in need of revenge. His coat fluttering in the wind looks surprisingly good though. The enemies are fairly well done but for the most part you’ll be too bust ducking and diving to get a good look at them. ...Max is back with his legendary bullet-time motion in this sequel Max Payne 2 ? The Fall of Max Payne. Living his nightmare in which everyone he touches dies Max Payne has quit the DEA and is now just a regular NYPD agent, or so you are led to believe. The Comic Book narration, great graphics and decent sounds in the game are all still present, and in some cases even better than before. The phenomenal bullet-time that max Payne is famous for continues to amaze as you dive in slow motion around corners leaving your enemies helpless to your rage. Pucker up with Max Factor!

Advantages: Stays on and refuses to budge
Disadvantages: CAn cake on the lipts if your not careful

...it's time to move on from lipstick covered teeth yet! All in all this is a must have for the party season and has many more positive points than negatives, I for one won't be using anything else and I'll just remember that after a few hours I need to use the top coat and I'm away! I can't live without this product and even my Mother owns one or two of them now. If you don't believe my claims nip into a chemist and try a tester if your not brave enough to put it on your lips draw a line on your hand and leave to dry a minute then try removing it?! Case closed lol PS! Boots have an offer on, spend £12 on Max Factor get free goodie box and in TK ax you can get 4 lipfinity lipsticks for £10 in a case (regular size) and in TJ Hughes they have limited colours but are £2! It has no SPF but you can easily sort that out by using moisturiser first, it's quite a liquidy consistancy and you only need to use a pea sized amount, it sets almost powder like. ...and yet it hasn't lost any of its appeal. I would still say that it is one of the greatest action movies ever made and I think it will remain up there for a long time coming yet. You can spend enormous amounts of money on a movie, make the stunts bigger and bigger, but it takes real skill to actually make it look 'real' and make the watcher feel as if they are part of the movie. Mad Max I & II both achieve this and exude pure class throughout. Defintely one of my favourite movies of all time and highly recommended to all of an age suitable to watch it - def. over 18. 5 stars all the way....
