Not exactly MaxFactor's pièce de résistance!

Advantages: Good, subtle daytime look, easy to remove
Disadvantages: Doesn't deliver on promises, no volume or definition :(

...volume and definition, I don't think it delivers on either. I was hoping for a more dramatic result, and I don't think the colour is very strong. I tend to wear this during the daytime for a subtle look, and for this it's perfect. The mascara adds a bit of colour and length to your lashes, but nothing major. Even with a couple of coats, the effect doesn't build up that much and I personally my lashes look better with just the one coat. However, I feel let down that MaxFactor don't deliver on their promises. I have the black mascara, and it doesn't create much impact. I said I'd be happy if my lashes looked half as good as the ones on the advert...in all honesty, they don't. ...Before I tried this product,I really dont know how I had managed with other brands of mascara. This product really is that good! I think this product came out I would guess about a year ago,but I may be a bit wrong with my estimation. I first saw this product advertised on tele,it tied in with the 'Memoirs of a Geisha' movie,as Max Factor boasted that they had done the make-up for the film. True,the advert for the film and the mascara looked pretty unbelievable as the definition on the Geishas lashes was incredible,but to be honest looked too good to be true. Never the less,I decided to buy some as my usual mascara by Benefit,set me back about fourteen pounds a time and I thought i'd give it a go,as i was nearly running out. So,I went to Boots,seeing as I have an advantage card,I tend to do what shopping I can there...

Pucker up with Max Factor!

Advantages: Stays on and refuses to budge
Disadvantages: CAn cake on the lipts if your not careful

...it's time to move on from lipstick covered teeth yet! All in all this is a must have for the party season and has many more positive points than negatives, I for one won't be using anything else and I'll just remember that after a few hours I need to use the top coat and I'm away! I can't live without this product and even my Mother owns one or two of them now. If you don't believe my claims nip into a chemist and try a tester if your not brave enough to put it on your lips draw a line on your hand and leave to dry a minute then try removing it?! Case closed lol PS! Boots have an offer on, spend £12 on Max Factor get free goodie box and in TK ax you can get 4 lipfinity lipsticks for £10 in a case (regular size) and in TJ Hughes they have limited colours but are £2! It really pays to look on markets and in bargain buckets you...

Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara Waterproof

Advantages: excellent coverage, increases volume and length, holds curl, great price
Disadvantages: removal is a bit time consuming!

...Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara I have tried many mascaras over the years, expensive ones, cheaper versions, until I finally found this, Max Factor Masterpiece. I opted for the waterproof version, in black. The mascara was on offer at the time in Boots so cost me around the £5 mark, if I remember rightly. The mascara itself is in a gold tube. The brush is fantastic, nice in size and I feel that it grabs the lashes perfectly, even the corners, without too much fussing about. Sometimes I like to wiggle it through to get an even better coverage. The formula is excellent; no gloops or clumps at all. The colour is rich and makes the lashes really stand out, even after just one coat. I usually only apply 1 coat, I have tried 2 and it does make the lashes feel a little heavy, although in my opinion you don't need more than 1...

Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation

Advantages: Evens skin tone, looks quite natural, a little goes a long way
Disadvantages: Caused me to break out, encouraged oilyness, didn't stay on amazingly long

...Ah, the delights of teenage skin. Never know what it's going to do next. One day it's dry, flakey and tight feeling, the next you wish you had a spatula to scrape all the oil off. Not to mention oh so stubborn blemishes. I personally have all these things going on, combination skin basically, and I've always had trouble keeping spots at bay. ...I have tried number of different brands and types of foundation over the years. I first used Max Factor Colour Adapt when I got a free sample of it after buying some other Max Factor products. Colour Adapt comes in five shades: Creamy Ivory, Warm Almond, Blushing Beige, the uninformatively-named Natural, and Golden. It claims to adapt to your natural skin tones to provide a natural finish. The free sample I received was Natural, which is a bit darker than my actual skin tone. I have very pale skin so I thought the sample would be useless. I decided to try it anyway. I applied a very small amount by putting small dots of it on my face and blending it in with my fingers. The product looked quite dark beige, but when I began to blend it in, it looked absolutely fine with my skin tone. I didn't look orange or have any harsh lines...

MaxFactor Masters Made a Masterpiece of Me!

Advantages: Easy to apply, quick drying and doesn't clog the brush, your eyes or the bottle!

Masterpiece Max Mascara does wonders for your eyes

Advantages: Makes your lashes longer and fuller

...I have had my fair share of mascaras like most women but this one by Max Factor is definitely up to the task. I don?t have very long lashes and they point mainly away from the eye rather then up. By using an eyelash curler and then the mascara, my lashes look longer and fuller. Application The first time I used it I thought it was very smeary and had to apply more than one layer to make it even. By applying it multiple times I got the ?longer look? as the product promises for your lashes but by only applying once the mascara lacked in making my lashes longer and fuller. After a few times using the mascara it got easier to apply because the brush was no longer unused and I found the right technique. Despite this the mascara did perform as promised. Max Factor Colour Adapt - Highly Recommended

...Max Factor Colour Adapt foundation is widely available and provides good value for money. The foundation is creamy and feels light to wear, but also offers great coverage of blemishes and flawless, even skintone, providing performance comparable to much more expensive brands. Matching skintone, this foundation gives a very natural look, is easy to remove using cleanser or cleansing wipes, and doesn't dry skin out. It blends easily and the paler shades are great for those with very fair skin. Having said this, however, coverage doesn't last as long as it could, although wearing a powder over the foundation seems to help. Also, the packaging makes it difficult to see how much product is left in the bottle, meaning that I always run out suddenly, without more to hand....
