...I have owned a maxdata laptop since August 2000 and in that time I have found it pretty good actually. For the purposes of comaprison I own a maxdata 650T, a P3 700MHz with DVD Drive 128Mb Ram with an 11Gb HDD. In addition I am sharing a house with 4 other guys all who own laptops so I feel that this is a fair comparison of its abilities How easy is it to get started? Very! I got that baby ticking away within 30 minutes. The Operating system needed to be installed which was done quickly via good company instructions and a fast processor. Being a laptop there wasn't a great deal to do after that except install all device drivers and get plugging away! Speed From my experience runs like a dream. Boots up fast shuts down fast and processes just generally very quickly. it should be noted that it appears to slow down more than...

Wow! 20.1" - Beautiful!

Advantages: Superb Picture - Well Made - Looks Gorgeous

...giant screens to work on - one for arranging and one for mixing - perfect! So, what made me choose this monitor over the competition? Well, the Apple Cinema Displays are widely regarded as having the best picture quality, unfortunately they are simply way too far out of my price range. The 20" model is almost £600, double the price of this one. It's specs are stunning, however, and I made it a base for comparison, my benchmark that other choices should aspire to. I looked at many different models: ASUS, Dell, NEC, Philips, you name it, I checked it out! Then I found Belinea. A division of German based, MAXDATA, Belinea wasn't a natural lead to uncover in the flatpanel monitor market. Although they are apparently "market leaders" in their home Germany, I have only ever seen the brand on old, defunkt and small CRT monitors. However...

Brilliant BRIO

...of the Fujitsu lines or the Maxdata - but these all have some drawbacks in spec/price/availability compared to the HP. Jungle delivered as promised (well done to them). Set up was entirely straightforward - it all plugged in and was going first time. All the software was preloaded, and within a few minutes I had blazing performance at my fingertips to pen my next Ciao op. First impressions are good. The machine is smaller than I expected - measuring 14.5 inches / 37 cm high - its a micro tower. It appears very solidly made. The case comes apart very simply by means of finger screws - a neat idea. The real shock inside is that there is no CPU fan. Shock horror. I will say that again - no CPU fan. This came as a real shock to me - there is a large silver heat sink in its place. This means that the PC is surprisingly quiet when running - in fact...
